Tori's POV
"I can't believe you talked me into wearing pajamas here." I sighed. Jacky chuckled beside me.
"You could've changed if you wanted! I gave you time if you wanted too." He smiled.
"Hush." I said as I elbowed him. We walked into the dollar store hand-in-hand, like we did 4 years ago. I smirked at the memory.
"Babe," Jacky stated to get my attention. He held up a pack of Oreos. I fist-pumped and kicked my leg up in victory. He shook his head.
"Do I embarrass you? Because you could've left me at home."
"But I wanted you to come with me." He admitted, looking into my eyes. I blushed. No matter how long we dated, I would never get over him.
"Yes!" He yelled, picking up a wand from a pile.
"I want this. It's super sparkly." He waved it around and danced in the isle. I took a picture of him when he smiled like a little girl, throwing his leg up. I grabbed it from him. He gave me a blank look.
"We're buying this now." He shrugged, his arm resting around my shoulders. I leaned into him.
By time we got all the candy and popcorn we wanted for our movie night, it was around 9:03. We'd been stared at a little, considering we were in our pajamas and dancing randomly. We checked out, Jacky stopping at the little machines upfront. He pointed to the rings with animals on them.
"We should get those!" He grinned. I shook my head, handing him the quarter. He placed it in the slot and turned the bar. We heard the machine click, the ball sounding as it fell down. Jacky opened the door to catch the container. The plastic cup rolled too quickly, thudding against the floor.
Why was it sparkly?
"Do they have sparkles?" I asked like a kid.
"In a way." He smiled.
"What do you mean?" I questioned.
Jacky lifted one of his knees.
I stopped breathing.
"Tori, the days with you are my favorite. You make me smile and laugh. You're the girl who beings me pure joy and I love you." He popped open the container to reveal a ring.
A wedding ring.
"Will you marry me?" He asked.
"Y......YES!" I grinned, falling down so I was at the same level as him. Our lips pressed together, as sweet as our first kiss.
"I love you." He stated.
"I love you too." I said, kissing his lips once more.
