There are many platforms where you can look for photos and inspirations. Today I'm gonna share with you guys which apps I use personally when searching for them.

1. DeviantArt (Photos & Inspiration)
Platform I definitely highly recommend is DeviantArt. It's a place for artists where they share their art, stocks and many other stuff. Many creators offer there photos, stocks images, textures, pngs that you can use for both non-commercial and commercial work. However, always check the artist's description and terms of use before downloading, as each creator has different rules about how their work can be used.
2. Pinterest (Photos & Inspiration)
Another app I recommend is Pinterest. I personally use this app a lot for inspiration. It is very good for finding pictures and inspirations that match 99% of what you're are looking for. Keep in mind that most of the photos that are there, are reposted stuff from other people and not the original creator. So if you are doing commercial work definitely do not use any pictures from this app. Using photos from Pinterest for commercial work could lead to copyright issues since you might end up using images without proper licensing.
3. Unsplash (Photos)
Third platform I suggest is Unsplash. It's a platform where people upload their images, making them available for free. The photos there are very nice and in perfect quality. All photos on Unsplash are licensed under the Unsplash License, which allows you to use them for both non-commercial and commercial purposes without attribution.
4. Pexels (Photos)
Another amazing app for photos is Pexels. It's basicaly like Unsplash, all photos there are nice + with good quality and for free for both non-commercial and commercial work.
5. Instagram (Inspiration)
App where I also look a lot for an inspiration is Instagram. It is a social media app I suppose everyone of you know, where many artists share their artwork. Artists I personally like and take inspiration from is Rossdraws, Kabujiro, kantakerro, selkkiedesigns and many more but that I will share in another chapter :)
6. Xiaohongshu (Inspiration)
Lastle place where I look again for inspiration is Xiaohongshu. It's basicaly a chinese Instragram app where like in Instagram artists share their stuff. Me personally I look there mostly only for fashion or nail design inspiration. If you compare it to Pinterest it's like on another level. I call it final boss... It is kind of hard to find specific stuff, if you cannot read/write in chinese. But if you are looking for an overall thema it should be okay.
