We decided to head to my place that night in hopes that we could possibly get away from his parents, but he got caught, his parents were in the driveway, they just got out of the car just before we opened the door

Jacob's mother: Jacob! *she runs up and hugs him*
Jacob: um hello
Mother: I missed you so much! Oh his the dog here?
Jacob: Hes um... a friend of mine, he invited me over to his house, we were gonna hang out and stay for the nigh-
Mother: Jacob!! We just got home! We sent you a text! Cmon, you are staying the night with us, we've been gone for a while and then when we get back you want to stay over with your fri-
Leon: ok how about you get the truth, m'am when he moved in I came to greet him as a neighbor, and I even invited him over for tomorrow so we could hang out because turns out we were going to the same school, it also seemed that he did not have enough food to last him the amount of time you'd be gone, so instead of being "ok welp you deal with it" I've been letting him live with me, because not only did I have parents out of town, I didn't have enough food either, so we've been sharing each other's food so we could both get by, we did not know you were coming, so I'm sorry woman but he didn't mean to make this plan disrespectfully, he didn't see your text message. Now if you don't mind, the food is all in my house, I can either go grocery shopping with you guys and help pay for your groceries, or just take him to your house with the little food you have left.

*his mother was in shock, she looked sorry for not giving him enough food, luckily I was able to trick her because we both definitely had enough food, I just had to make an excuse, and when it comes to parents like his, it's a talent for me when it comes to tricking them. His dad ran up and looked at the 2 of us with a suspicious look*
Father: son? Are you dating this man!!
Jacob: did you not just hear what he said?
Mother: Hes been helping our son, we didn't give him enough food for our travels so he's been sharing to keep him alive babe. Now stop being a prick to our child and let's go shopping. *turns to leon* thanks so much for helping my boy, what's your name?
Leon: it's Leon, and what's with his dad? Does he hate gays?
Dad: THEY ARE A SI-
Mother: Hes a homophobe, i wish Hes be nicer to them. He calls them a sin because of a quote in the Bible, he's over the top religious sometimes
Leon: haha i sometimes am like that too, hey you know what? How about we celebrate a bbq at my place as a welcome back party for your arrival, I can show you the friends he's made since you were gone, and catch you up on events you missed.
Mother: that would be perfect!
Jacob: cool! Me and him will go get it set up, we will be done most likely at noon or sometime later
Father: fine...
*leon and Jacob walk inside the house*
Jacob: what are you planning here? A moment ago you were trying to get away from them and now you are bringing them straight to us, what if they find out?
Leon: don't worry, they definitely will find out, and I have a plan to make this glorious, as well as making it work out for your parents in the end~
