Grocery Story (Leebury) COMPLETE

Chapter 2

Samuels POV:
"Come here Lee!" Who? I thought. The guy that raised his hand? He started to walk up he had a larger build than me but was still slim and had brown hair that was covering the left side of his face. I think, no. Never mind, I don't have time for this. He walked up and all of a sudden my heart was racing and my palms were sweaty.  I was staring into his gorgeous blue eyes. Wait no! I made eye contact and didn't realize the smile that had found its way to my face. "I'll leave you to it!" Said my new boss and walked away "I'm Charles, Charles Lee." Said the man reaching out a hand for me to shake "You already know my name." I said awkwardly as I shook his hand, for some reason I didn't want to let go, but I managed to pull away. Charles started showing me around "You can hang with me during the shift if you want." I eagerly said "Yes!" I really liked being with Charles.

Charles POV:
I was happy Samuel agreed. He was really nice and I could tell he was funny even though we was to shy to joke. Not to mention he was freaking adorable. I wanted to make a move but didn't want to scare him off. "Hey Sam," I said "Oh do you go by Sam or Samuel or..." "Usually Samuel but you can call me Sam if you want." " Okay, cool. So." I'm honestly making this up as I go "can you put you number in my phone?" "Oh um, w-why?" "Oh um for the work group chat. I know it's stupid y-you don't h-have to..." "o-oh I can." I watched as he put his number into my phone. Yes! I got his number! I showed him around told him who to talk to and who to avoid, how shifts work, etc.

Sam's POV:
I tried to listen to what Charles was saying but it was hard because he is so beautiful. Wait, do I? I do! I like Charles. He was handsome, charming, funny, over all amazing! Does he like me? He did ask for my number. No he could never. "Got all that? Sorry it's a lot. I wanted to make sure I got everything." Charles said, I could feel my face go red "o-oh u-um haha. I-it's good. A-am I s-staying with y-you?" I said I was all of a sudden more nervous then ever to talk to him "y-yah but only if you want to." "Y-yes I-I do." I answered "Are you okay?" He asked me "y-yah totally" I said "Promise?" He asked "P-promise" Just when we heard a voice over the intercom "Store opens in 5 min." There were sighs and grunts around the store, one being Charles "Charles, can I ask you a question?" I asked "Sure thing, that's what I'm here for." He said that's right, he isn't your Prince Charming, I thought , he is here to answer questions. "Um, w-why is everyone so...." I tried to think of the right word, "Emotionless? Cold?" Charles asked "Um yah." Charles shrugged "I dunno, guess we all just slowly turned into zombies." I looked around in horror "Am I going to be like that?" "I hope not." He said I smiled a bit "U-um, your a breath of fresh air, ya know? It's nice to to talk to someone that still has life in there eyes." We awkwardly laughed.
