donghyuck hadn't thought about yesterday.

he hadn't thought about the others sad demeanor, or his sad puppy eyes. he was actually thinking alot about his performance next month. practicing his song,, perfecting it. for once, lee haechan was nervous about something. something other than being a virgin by the end of this year (but, no one needed to know that).

he was now sitting in his last period, dozing off. the teachers words sounding foreign to his ears. probably because he was in english. but he thought he was pretty good at it already. he knew how to say 'penis' and 'coochie' so he thought he was good. and just like that, the bell rang, signalling class was over. he yawned and stretched, standing up and grabbing his backpack, walking out. 

donghyuck spotted his friends quickly, rushing over to them. he hugged jeno tightly, looking into his eyes "hyungie! i missed you! you missed me," he looked away then back up, "right?" he dragged the 't' trying to give puppy eyes. everyone laughed, except jaemin and renjun who never seemed to find these jokes funny. "yes hyuckie-ssi, i missed you oh so much." jeno responded, giving a cute eye-smile. the two laughed, fist bumping. "no homo tho, full bi." donghyuck said, nudging him a bit. 
 

the boys made plans for friday, after hyuck's session, talking in excited voices. they were going to spray paint the bridge by the lake, and then go swimming.  perfect friday. donghyuck just hoped his session wasn't long

a few minutes later hyuck found himself walking up those same stairs once again, reaching the sunny hallway. the air seemed clearer up there, clouds visible in the blue sky. he made his way to the sliding door, opening it carelessly and huffing. 

taeil was not there

his calm demeanor wore away, looking at the barren classroom. where the fuck was he? 
donghyuck looked around the classroom he couldn't spot the blonde anywhere. he was probably just late. so the brunette sat down and went on his phone waiting for the other, waiting and waiting.

and he waited, for hours.
