Kageyama's POV

Once Kai and I got inside her house, I sat down on the couch while she went to her room to get her clothes. I got bored after about 5 minutes so I decided to go into Kai's room. When I entered her room, it was different.

When Kai, Ellie, and me would hang out at each other's houses, it would normally be at Ellie's house or mine. Kai's parents weren't home often because of their jobs, so Keishin-san would take care of her for the most part.

She's really renovated it since last I saw her room. She had an actual bed frame in her room, rather than a mattress laying on the floor. There was a black desk with a matching chair, rather than before when she owned Keishin's old desk that was on the verge of breaking. Why does she have to be so lazy to clean it up?

"Kai, when did you change your room?" I asked.

"During the break before high school started. It was honestly really difficult for me, since I didn't feel like moving anything. Ellie and us made a lot of memories here, but kaa-san and tou-san explained that I should renovate how my room looks because it hasn't changed for the most part," she explained.

I nodded as she finished packing. She quickly went to her desk and made a note for who I'm assuming were for her parents when they come back.

I knew that kaa-san wasn't there since she had a late shift today. Miwa-nee would probably be fine with Kai coming over, if she was even there. She was in college and had a dorm, but her college was close to our house so she'd pass by often.

"Come on," Kai motioned her hand to the door, in which I followed.

She stuck the note she made on the door and we started walking to my house.

Kaichi's POV

When we got to Tobi's house, I saw Miwa-san sitting on her couch.

"Oh my god, is that you Kaichi?" she asked.

"Uh... yeah?" I responded, confused at why she asked that question.

"You've changed so much Kaichi!" she yelled out, and ran from the couch to give me a hug.

"What about me Miwa-nee?" Tobi asked, joking around trying to get Miwa's attention.

Miwa-san disconnected our hug and looked at Tobi-chan in the eyes. "What about you? You haven't changed at all," she said as she pushed Tobi.

"Nee-san, I brought her over so she could have a sleepover with me. So, can I have my guest back?" he asked, half jokingly.

Miwa looked at the both of us. "Sure dumbasses, but if anything funny happens in your room," she looked at Tobi. "There's a pregnancy test in the bathroom. I'm too young to become a ka-san (aunt in Japanese), so please try to keep your hands to yourself."

"What the hell Miwa?!" Tobi shouted.

"I'm just saying Tobio," Miwa countered.

Tobi-chan took my wrist. "Come on Kai, let's go before she says anything else," he looked at me. He started walking me to his room, his hand still roped around my wrist.

When we got to his room, I decided to just stay in what I was wearing for the night. I looked at Tobi, who was setting a volleyball on his bed.

"Hey dumbasses," Miwa-san greeted. "What do you guys want for a midnight snack? My treat."

Huh? It's midnight? I looked at Tobi's clock, which was still at the same place as last time. At least that didn't change. It was already 12:39 am, which meant that I didn't even eat dinner yet. But it also means that Tobi-chan didn't either.

"Get me strawberry milk and 3 pork curry buns," Tobi replied.

"I want milk tea and a quart of ice cream please," I asked.

"Damn guys, I'm going to go broke because of you two. Okay, I'm going to leave now. Remember to keep your hands to yourself," Miwa said with a wink.

I stuck my tongue out at her as she left. I've grown close with Miwa, since kaa-san and Tobi's mom were often placed in the same hospital. They knew each other well, so I would normally stay with Miwa and Tobi at their house whenever Kei-nii had school.

"Hey Tobi, why's Miwa here? Isn't she supposed to be at campus right now?" I asked.

"Miwa probably came to do her laundry here. She says it's too expensive to do it at her dorm," he replied. "I'm going to take a nap, tell me when Miwa-nee comes back." Tobi placed his volleyball beneath his bed and began to close his eyes.

In about 15 minutes, Miwa-san came carrying a bag on either hand. I walked towards the door to help her out with the bags.

"Hey Kaichi, can I ask you something?" Miwa whispered, trying not to wake up Tobi since she knew he was asleep.

"Sure...?" I replied, hoping that her question wasn't going to be difficult to answer.

"How are you and Tobi?" she asked. "Relationship wise," she added.

"We're just friends Miwa," I responded.

"Whatever," she replied. "Now wake up Tobio, he'd start getting angry if his curry buns got cold."

I started walking to Tobi's room, trying my best not to make a noise. I'll get him back for what he did. I quickly pulled the pillow he was laying on while trying my best to hold in my laughter.

"What the hell Kai," he exclaimed sleepily. Still tired, huh? He set his arm under his head, trying to get comfortable with his new pillow.

I started hitting him with the pillow he was recently sleeping on, putting more strength with every hit every hit. After multiple hits, I felt satisfied and stopped. "Wake up sleepyhead," I whispered in his ear, surprising him at the gesture.

He got up and said, "Where are my curry buns?" I could see a faint tint of red on his cheeks, but that could've been from his nap.

"They're at the dinner table, duhh." I responded, trying not to laugh at his dumb question.

He stood up and started walking to the table. When he got there, he found his curry buns sitting on the table wrapped in plastic. I found my ice cream and milk tea in another bag and decided to put the ice cream in the freezer so I could eat it later.

I saw Tobi eating his first curry bun while holding the rest in his other hand. He started walking back to his room while chewing his food, distracted.

Before he made it back to his room I managed to steal one of his curry buns. He didn't seem to notice, so I ate the whole thing before he finished his first curry bun.

We sat down on the floor of his room as he continued eating his food. When he started eating his second curry bun, he noticed that his third was missing.

"Where the fuck did my curry bun go Kai?!" He shouted.

"In my stomach, duhh. Stop losing brain cells Tobi, you need them for school," I countered with a smirk.

He clicked his tongue in anger, signaling defeat. I started to crave ice cream, but then remembered that I stored some in the freezer.

I stood up from the floor and started walking to the kitchen. I decided to eat out of the tub, so I pulled it from her the freezer and took a spoon from one of the drawers.

When I got back to Tobi's room, I saw jealousy in his eyes as he stared at my ice cream. I stuck my tongue out when I noticed this, and he rolled his eyes in response.

"Come on Kai, let's watch some movies," Tobi said. I nodded as he started pulling my wrist, practically dragging me.
