Hi! I didn't have a whole lot of time to edit this chapter, so I'm sorry if there are typos!

Quinn grabbed her bag from the back of the car and followed Tony up the porch steps and into the house. It was huge, having been expanded to accommodate all the Avengers at once, so she had her own room. Steve's was right next door, and every room had a wifi connection and Jarvis.
"Okay, let's go over the ground rules." Tony said once he'd shown her to her room. Quinn groaned and dumped her bag on the bed.
"Really? I thought this was a vacation!" She said.
"It is, but you still need to behave. By the way, I'm going over the rules from New York that still apply here, so you don't mysteriously forget. Number one, no disrespecting the adults around here. That includes but is not exclusive to: swearing, name-calling, attitude, and just overall being a little shit. Number two, don't do things we've told you not to do, or things you know we wouldn't approve of without asking permission." Quinn was already dead; she couldn't hold back her temper and wasn't at all a morning person. Plus, she had a way of getting into trouble. "Three, no disappearing without telling us where you're going and having an adult with you. Four, and this is a new one from Steve, no playing obscenely loud music late at night. Some people enjoy sleeping. Five, no putting yourself in danger under any circumstances unless absolutely necessary. Number six, go to bed before midnight every night, unless given explicit permission to stay up by an adult. Seven, no booze. Pretty self-explanatory. And finally, eight. If you feel uncomfortable, unsafe or unwell, you must tell an adult and they'll help you out. We don't do stuff alone here." He finished.
"And if I break any of these, my ass is history?" Quinn said, raising an eyebrow. Tony did as well, and crossed his arms.
"Well, you just did. Number one includes swearing. But I'm willing to allow swear words, just don't say them around Steve." Tony sighed. "But otherwise, it depends on the severity. If you're mildly disrespectful to an adult, you might just get your phone taken away or something. Got it?
"I guess." Quinn glared at the ground. "Even though nobody else has rules."
"That's because we're adults and we're mature. You are a kid and you can't be trusted to do the right thing without knowing the boundaries yet." He retorted bluntly, then went to his room a few doors down. Quinn huffed and sat on her bed, trying to find loopholes in what he'd said.

"Jarvis?" She said a few hours later, lying on her bed and playing with her favourite throwing knife from the shiny silver set. They had been a gift from Nat when Quinn started training with knives, and now she could meet almost any target within a hundred metres.
"Yes, Quinn?" Came the robotic voice from the speakers in her room.
"Is there anything that might help me avoid dying of boredom?" She said, throwing the blade into a beam on the roof.
"You could read a book, or ask someone to play a board game with you. Would you like me to send a request to someone?"
"No! No, please don't do that. What else is there?" Quinn closed her eyes irritably.
"It seems that both Thor and Loki have just arrived on the property. Perhaps you could greet them." Quinn opened her eyes and smiled.
"Thanks, Jarvis. Where are they?" She sat up and turned her hair peachy pink. She changed into some denim shorts and a tank top, and put her doc martens on. Sometimes, her abilities made getting dressed very fun.
"They're making their way towards the house. My estimate is that they're twelve seconds away. I've alerted the Avengers, and they've assembled in the living area." Jarvis said, and turned off.

Quinn raced down the stairs, two steps at a time, and stopped just behind the doorway to the living room. She could hear a loud, happy voice that she assumed was Thor, but she couldn't hear Loki. That is, until he was standing right in front of her.
"Who are you?" He asked suspiciously, looking down at her.
"I'm Quinn. Hello, you're Loki. Holy shit." She said excitedly, grabbing his hand and shaking it vivaciously. He pulled it away and wiped it on his cape, as if he'd caught a disease. Quinn was put out for a moment, then she smiled. "It's nice to meet you."
"Where's my brother?" Thor boomed from the other room, and Loki rolled his eyes.
He turned away and re-entered the room.
"Oh, is Quinn there?" Thor asked. Quinn smiled and reluctantly walked through the doorway, waving shyly at Thor.
"How do you know this girl, brother?" Loki narrowed his eyes at Quinn as if he was trying to recall where they'd met.
"I'm one of the Avengers now. I don't know if you heard me earlier, but I said hi and you didn't say it back." Quinn piped up. Steve shot her a look of warning, but Loki looked thoughtful.
"Yes, I suppose you did. What a stunning revelation." He said sarcastically, and turned to speak to Bruce. Quinn gaped indignantly, and retreated to the side of the room.
Steve approached Quinn and spoke quietly. "Loki counts as an adult. I don't want you to show him or Thor any disrespect while they're here, you understand?" He said lowly.
"He's the one being rude! I need to be allowed to stand up for myself." Quinn argued. Loki glanced up and gave them an odd look, before returning to the conversation.
"I know, but it's just a warning. I won't tolerate misbehaviour on this trip, and I won't hesitate to put you over my knee if necessary. Neither of us want that to happen, do we?" Steve said. Quinn blushed, but agreed.
"No, okay." She said. "Wait; inside, where other people could hear? Why couldn't we use a shed or something?"
"I guess we'll decide if the time comes. For severe spankings, I'd expect that we'd find a shed, but for smaller offences I'll handle it inside. It isn't worth the hassle otherwise." He decided, serving himself some wine.
"I don't want either of those." Quinn pouted.
"Then behave yourself." Cap smiled, and poked her in the ribs.
