Chan had laid out a blanket on the ground and brought different snacks and drinks. Maybe going a little too all out for a friendly night with his best friend. When he deemed everything perfect he hopped into his car and drove to Felix's house. The younger was already waiting for Chan outside, wearing one of the older's hoodies he had left over many nights ago.
It was fall, the leaves had fallen from the trees, the wind blew lightly creating a nice breeze compared to the summer heat. Felix loved fall, he loved to see the leaves on the trees change colors, he loved the crunching noise the fallen leaves made under his beat up vans.
He loved the cool weather especially since it was cool enough to wear hoodies. When Chan pulled up Felix couldn't help but bubble up in excitement. Chan always planned the best nights out, sometimes it was the arcade, sometimes it was staying in watching dramas and ordering take out, other times it was like tonight, Chan liked to keep it a surprise.
Felix practically ran to Chan's car, ready to jump in through the slightly open window (he wouldn't fit of course, but he was just that excited). "Channie!" He cheered when he opened the passenger door. "Hey Lix" Chan said with a bright smile. "Get in you're going to love tonight" he said letting a little bit of excitement seep through his voice.
Felix couldn't wait, he was so excited. He loved spending time with Chan. "Where are we going?" Felix asked as he tried to figure out where Chan was heading. He looked at the empty streets and bare trees zoom past him (Chan maybe speeded a little bit don't tell his mom).
"It's a secret Lixie" Chan whispered as he reached to turn the radio on, soft music filled the car which helped Felix calm down a little bit, but the younger was still buzzing. "I'm so excited" Felix mumbled as he hummed along to the song on the radio.
Chan couldn't help but smile at the younger boy. Felix was his best friend, but he also loved the boy, more than anything in the world which is why he always takes the boy out on these "dates". Felix loved Chan just as much, but the older was very oblivious to this, mostly focusing on trying to make Felix see he has a massive crush on him.
Felix always brushed it off thinking Chan was like this with all his friends, but gross. Chan would never take Changbin or Jisung out like this. He wouldn't even be seen in public with Jisung 99% of the time because the young boy was very obnoxious and loud constantly.
The last time Chan went out with Jisung they got kicked out of a restaurant because Jisung yelled "this bitch empty! Yeet!" And threw his empty cup across the restaurant- hitting some American tourists who were not happy. It was a disaster and well Changbin didn't like going out much, but when he did he was weird about it.
