5- Finding Out

Jade POV

Leigh was seemingly very drunk and when she is drunk she tends to get very clingy and emotional.

I gave her an oversized shirt and shorts to change into. I changed into my grey pajama shorts and a black crop top as my pajama top.

I walked her to the couch and had her lay down while I started to leave to get her some water to balance out all the alcohol in her system.

"Bubba wheeeeere you goin'"
"I'm getting you water Leigh"
"Come baccc promise?"
"Yes Leigh I'll come back I promise"

I came back with two glasses of water and an Advil for her to take later when she has her hangover.

When I returned she was staring and me a smiling and I didn't know why.

"Leigh-Leigh babe, why're you lookin at me like that?" I said as I sat down on the couch next to her.
"I loveeeee youuu"

Did she really mean that, does she love me as more than a friend or is she just expressing platonic love? Drunk sayings are sober thoughts though. Whatever the reason, I really hope she actually loves me and is not just saying this because she's drunk because I think I love her.

"What do you mean?" I asked.
" I mean I. Love. You." She sits up and gets closer to my face with each word.

It's the clearest sentence she's said since being intoxicated, is it possible that she means it? Might as well tell her how I feel, it can't hurt. Either she will open up and tell me how she feels too, even if it is the drunk version, or she will forget this happened in the morning so if she doesn't feel the same way I won't be embarrassed.

"I love you too Leigh"
"Realllllyyyy? I loveeeee you morreeeee."
Back to drunk-talking Leigh.

"You're cute" I say and she blushes.
I hand her the cup of water to drink.

" wannnna play a game"
"Okay, what game Leigh?"
"Truth or dare"
"Alright, you go first then. Truth or dare Leigh?"
"Truth"
"Do you really love me or are you just drunk?"
"I reallllly love you and I think I'm slightly less intoxicated"

Hopefully that's true, I guess we will see in the morning.

"Truth or dare Jade?"
"Dare"
"I dare you to kiss me"
HOLY SHIT. "What? Leigh, I can't, you're literally dating Andre, that's not fair to him"
"But I wannnt you to. He doesn't take care of me like you do."

Is she really drunk? She sounds a bit more sober, her words aren't slurred anymore. I really want to kiss her but I think it might be the wrong thing to do. On the other hand, it's not like anyone's going to know about it...

"Ok, fine"

She scooted closer to me so that she was sitting on my lap and put her hands on the back of my neck. I put my arms around her waist and looked into her eyes. Damn. She has really gorgeous eyes. She leaned in and closed her eyes, and so did I.

It was like fireworks when our lips connected. It just felt right, like we were supposed to be doing this. She played with the hairs on the back of my neck while she deepened the kiss. It felt like heaven, her lips were so smooth and her touch made my body tingle. I lowered my hands and placed them on her ass and she moaned into my mouth. That was the sexiest sound I have ever heard. Eventually the lack of oxygen became a problem so she broke the kiss. Afterwards we kind of just stared and smiled at each other.

I could look at her all day, she is the most beautiful girl I have ever laid my eyes on.

Afterwards, she tucked her head into the crook of my neck and she just laid there, snuggling into me. Her right arm was on my shoulder and her left arm was holding me close. I never wanted to leave this position.

"Jade?"
"Yes bubba?"
"I don't think I'm drunk anymore, I didn't really have that much to drink, I just like cuddling with you and I like it when you take care of me. Please don't be mad that I kind of faked being super drunk."

Normally I would be mad. I took care of her for about 2 hours since we got to the hotel room just for her to be faking drunk? Wait, does that mean that she really does love me?

"Aww, your cute. I'm not mad at you. Although does that mean you meant everything you said? Even the part about you loving me and Andre not taking care of you?"

She sat up and looked me in the eyes. "I really do love you Jade. I don't love Andre like I said I did, I feel bad about falling out of love with him but I don't want to make him upset by breaking up with him."

"Aww I love you too Leigh-Leigh baby." She gives me a quick peck on the on the lips.

"But I think you should tell Andre, I don't want him to think you love him if you don't. Also what is this now? If you love me and not him, would you want to be with me instead?"

"I would love to be with you but I don't know if that would be the best for our careers. Two members of Little Mix coming out and also dating each other? Some people might not listen to our music if they found out."

"I know but I think we will figure that out when we get to it. Right now I just want to cuddle with you."

"Ok." She nods and snuggles closer to me. I love being like this with her. I couldn't think of anywhere I'd rather be and cuddled up on the couch with her.

I picked her up and walked us to our bed. I set her on the bed and walked to the other side of the bed and climbed in. We both got under the covers and she immediately snuggled into my side, intertwining our legs and hugging me. I wrapped my arm around her and traced the outline of her jaw while giving her a peck on her forehead. She hummed and put her hand on my cheek, bringing me down to place a kiss on my lips.

"We should go to sleep soon, we have to record vocals at the studio tomorrow" Leigh said.
"Yeah, you're right babe, but I do want another kiss if that's ok."
"You're so cute, come here"
She gave me another kiss, this one had more emotion than the last one, both of us knowing that there would be more kisses and cuddles to come.

"I love you Jade"
"I love you Leigh"

A/N: Damn. Ok this was by far my favorite chapter to write. They are so cute and sweet to each other in person so I hope I portrayed that in this chapter. I think (and hope) I'm getting a little better at writing. I don't remember they last time I wrote non-fiction so bear with me lol.
