Purpose

"So whats your problem Jimin?" Dr Kang, a psychiatrist asked.

"Doc, I every night have a piculiar dream. And every night it just continues. There's a young man named Yong Shen, thats me. And a girl... No an angel. I've feeling I've seen her in real life. The dream isn't just a dream but truth."

"So do you think you've seen that angel here, in this life?"

There was a quiet moment for a while, then Jimin answeres,"Yes." he sighed and continued,"I've seen her." The doctor rubbed his eyes and asked,"Then do you want to know what happened ahead?"

Jimin looked at the doctor and nodded. Dr Kang gestured him to sit in the arm chair. Jimin sat there, and closed his eyes. Dr Kang softly said,"Now you'll be slowy going to your past life. Feel every moment once again." Then snapped his fingers.

We were in between, ahead was the vast ocean and behind were the silver armored knights. Either way we had to die. But I did't wanted her to die. Why was she even with me. And her stabbed wings must be hurting her a lot. The wings were the heart of the angels. So, she couldn't even use her powers. Right now she was powerless, so was I.

She looked at me. But her eyes didn't showed a single tint of fear, unlike me. She wishpered to me,"I feel safe with you."

She felt safe and sound with me. I have to protect her at any cost. It was useless to run more, or to drown deep down into the sea. I picked up the thick wooden pannel from the cliff. The knights started laughing, maybe at my stupidness. But I won't give up. I've to protect her.

A knight came towards us with full speed. So we just got aside and he fell down the cliff with a 'SPLASHHH' sound.

Then all the knights together came towards us, I gestured her to stay back. There was no way that I could defeat them with this wooden pannel. So, I used my brain. I just somehow had to throw them off the cliff.

I at first ran slow, so that all the knights would focus on me. And when I reached the edge, I turned my direction. All the knights paused at the brink. But I pushed them hard with my wooden pannel.

All the knights drowned. Chun-ja was still standing on the brink of the ledge. Admiring my keen and uniques sense of fighting. I smiled at her, she smiled back. And only a second after, I saw a sword flying towards her. I ran towards her. I turned her around to face me. My hands on her shoulder to keep a distance.

And the sword stabbed me. It stabbed my back, too deeply. Was I going to die? I smiled at her. But this time she wasn't smiling. I saw the fear in her eyes. It would be better to die in her harms then to die in infirmary. I softly said to her in my last breath,"I love you."

I saw her eyes glisten. She wanted to release her saddness through her eyes,but she was also trying hard not to cry. She wishpered to me,"I love you too." I smiled for the last time and my soul left my stabbed body.

When she didn't get any response. She shrugged my dead body and hugged it. This time tears rolled down her cheeks, but my hands couldn't wipe it. Then she hold the sword from my back. And stabbed deeper, she stabbed herself.

We both together fell down into the deep blue see. The other knights' crops already too down into the sea.

We both sticked together with a sword, died in cold spring night, into the deep blue sea.

Dr Kang noticed, the tears rolling down Jimin's cheek in his sleep. He got the idea that young man wasn't having a good vision yet he was calm.

But suddenly the young man got up panting heavily, and eyes wide open.

The doctor asked him,"What happened Jimin?" Tears continuosly started pouring out from his eyes then rolling down her cheeks.

He said in his shaky voice,"She said that she felt safe with me. But I couldn't protect her."

Dr Kang in soothing voice said,"Whats happened, is happened, you can't change it. But as you said, you've seen that girl... I mean the angel in this life. Then you again have a chance to protect her. To keep her safe."

Jimin wiped off his tears and said,"Yeah you're correct Dr Kang. God has given me one more chance. I shouldn't dissapoint him and myself."

"Thats good. And don't get depressed." Dr Kang said.

"I won't. Now, I know my purpose. Why I was born. I need to protect her."
