Love Or Obsession

Chapter eleven

Avni came to the room and saw he was sleeping he sits on the bed Ali's words are echoing in her ear.

Ali: Neil was a fun loving guy and a kind hearted person he was mamma's boy aunty pampers him a lot.

Ali: I still remember that day He didn't eat anything and sleeps.

Ali: that day Neil didn't cry just stand there like a stutue and see her going then he ran to his room I also run behind him.

Ali: the boy who was mamma's boy slept all alone in a big mansion.

Avni wipes her tears and look at neil and caress his hairs and kiss his forehead.

Avni: I thought only I suffered in my life because my parents left my at the gate of orphanage but no I was wrong you suffered more than me I don't know about the parents love because I didn't get the chance to feel it but you you felt that love and lost them how difficult it was for you to handle your self that too at the age of only 10.

Avni thinks about Ali's words.

Ali: bhabhi Neil is not a bad guy I know he marry you forceful but its because he was afraid of losing you he don't want to live in darkness again he suffered a lot bhabhi please be with him he loves you a lot please don't leave him he needs love and only your love can heal his pain.

Avni look at neil.

Avni: I don't love you but i know one thing that we both are alone in this world and we both need each other I know how painful it is when you think why your parents did that with you we both are hurt may be we both will heal each other wounds I promise I will make you the old Neil who was fun loving and for that we have to go to the counsellor but how I will make him agree.

Neil wakes up he rubs his eyes and smiles to see her but soon his smile converted into frown when he saw her he understands she cried he gets up and cups her face.

Neil: wh what happened avni are you ok you have any pain or something what happened why are you crying.

Avni: Neil Neil relax I am fine.

Neil: then why are you crying?

Avni: I watched a movie and got emotional by seeing the last scene.

Neil signs.

Neil: you scared me avni by the way which movie you watch.

Avni: kabhi khushi kabhi ghum.

Neil: why you watched that movie you always cried by watching that movie.

Avni: how you know?

Neil: of ho wifey how many times I told you that I know everything about you.

Avni smiles.

Avni: ok now go and freshen up.

Neil: ok.

Neil went avni thinks.

Avni: avni think how will you make him agree to visit the counsellor.

Avni thinks at night they had the dinner then they are sitting on the bed and avni was continuously thinking about Ali's words Neil's past.

Avni: Neil can I ask you something.

Neil: ofcourse love you don't need any permission.

Avni: why you bought that diamond necklace and branded dresses for me.

Neil frown.

Avni: I mean you thought those things make me happy that's why you bought them for me.

Neil smiles.

Neil: no because I know my avni she don't like to show off she doesn't consider things with money and those materialistic things doesn't matters for her she is a simple girl who find happiness in small things.

Avni smiles.

Avni: then why you bought them for me?

Neil: because I want best for you I don't want anyone taunt my wifey because of her wearing like they did with you before I want to show them now you belongs to Neil khanna so they should stay away from you.

Avni is looking at him.

Neil: but why you asked about it?

Avni: I thought you bought that things because you feels that these things make me happy.

Neil: no wifey it's not like this.

Avni: ok.

He bought all those things for her because he wants best for her and he knew she doesn't like this but he was afaird what if she left him what if she changed like his mom he loves her a lot so he don't want any chance so he tried every possible effort which made her happy yes these thighs doesn't matters for her but who don't like the surprises the care the gifts everyone wants that and those things make a person happy that he or she thought about me and my happiness that's you he or she bought that for me here is the same case she doesn't want all those things but those things show his love for her and she felt good when she see the cupboard full of her dress.

Avni: Neil you know everything about me but I don't know anything about you please tell me about you.

Neil shocked and flashes of his childhood when he was sleeping on Shweta's lap then his parents argues Shweta left them everything avni asked him intentionally to see his reaction so she can talked to him about going to the counselling.

Neil: aa ab why you wants to know about me.

Avni: because you are my husband and it's my right to know about you.

Neil: there is nothing to tell about me.

Avni: ok so tell me what is your favourite dish.

Neil: I eat anything which you give me.

Avni: but there should be one specific dish that you like the most.

Neil: yaa I loved biryani and red beans with rice but now I don't like it and I can eat anything because no one was with me who can bear my tantrums on food and run after me so i eat something that's why now I can eat anything.

Avni feels bad for me.

Avni: if I made it then you will have it?

Neil: wifey I can do anything for you so eating those things is not a big deal but you don't need to do anything.

Avni: but I want to do it for you please.

Neil: but.

Avni: please.

Neil: ok but you will not do this on daily basis because I don't like that you do kitchen work.

Avni: ok thank you I will cooked it tomorrow for you.

Neil smiles.
