Chapter 1 - Introduction

Camila's P.O.V

Tunog ng alarm clock ang gumising sa akin. Kumuha ako ng isa pang unan sa kama at iniligay to sa mukha ko, not even looking at my phone.

After 3 minutes, the alarm started again. It really means that I really need to get up. Kinuha ko na yung cellphone ko sa table at itinurn off ko na ung alarm.

It is only 3 am and I need to be up. Our flight is at 6, can't I sleep more? But I'm finally moving to Philippines. I got up from the bed and went to the bathroom to take a cold shower. Now, I need to introduce my self.

My name is Camila, and I'm 17 years old. Born in Spain, but move to London when I was 7, I lived here since then.

My mother is originally from here but she moved to Spain when she met my father. She is half American and half Pilipina. She was born in the Philippines.

Nagsasalita kami ng tagalog kasi gusto ni mom na maging fluent kami don dahil dun na kami titira sa Philippines for good.

Hindi na ko makapaghintay na makita ulit ang grandparents ko. it's been too long since the last time I saw them.

Oh, at finally makikita ko na ulit and bestfriend ko. Mich. Bestfriend ko na sya ng 7 palang kami.

Nagkakilala kami sa Spain, well she was originally from there, her family is nice. Luckily she knows how to speak tagalog as well because our parents we're friends as well.

Kaso she moved in the Philippines 3 years ago. Lagi kami magkasama tuwing summer and ngayon papasok ako sa pinapasukan nyang school, I can't really wait.

I dry my body. I brushed my teeth. I fixed my hair. Pumunta na ko sa room ko and took a black skinny jeans and a white plain shirt. Opened the door and went downstairs. I met my parents at the kitchen.

"Good morning mom, dad" I kissed them both in the cheecks.

"Morning baby" my dad, "how's your night"

"Night? Talaga dad? Hindi nga ako nakatulog kahit 5 hours lang. At kung sino man ang may alam kung gaano ko kamahal ang pagtulog ay ikaw yon dad"

Tumawa lang sila at kinuha ko nalang ung plate ko with pancakes already. I really love it when my mom cooks for me.

I didn't listen to them.

Pagkatapos ko kumain ay tiningnan ko sila.

"So, aalis na tayo?" Tanong ko sa kanila

"Yes anak" my dad said as he hold my shoulders.

Dumating kami sa airport at hinintay ang plane namin na dumating. Private Jet. At ng komportable na kami sa upuan namin ay kinuha ko ung cellphone ko sa pocket ko and texted Mich that asa plane na kami. I smiled about us being together again. I look through the window and soon enouh drifted off to sleep.

Mich P.O.V

Geez! Hindi ako makapaniwala na Camila is coming here. Miss her so daman much. I'm still sitting on my bed, all dressed up for school but still early and I'am way too lazy to come on school.

Nakita ko message ni Camila around 2 last night. It contains that asa plane na sila. 7:30 na and I need to go to school kung ayaw kong malate. Mga parents ko ay nasa job na nila so mag isa lang ako sa bahay.

Umalis na ko sa bahay and I locked the door then nakita ko ang baby ko na naghihintay sa labas. The newest Range Rover. Love it more than love people I know. Turn on the radio and When I was Your Man of Bruno Mars traveled down the road with me.

Ten minutes had passed and I came to the school parking. Madaming tao ang nakatingin sakin. Hate it so much. Naglakad ako sa loob and went to my locked. At nakita ko si Kelly, isa sa mga kaibigan ko, she's leaning on my locker.

Meron sya long blonde hair with the pair of her green eyes. Lumingon sya sakin and nakita nya ako at ngumiti, I smiled back of course and hugged her over.

"Hey, kamusta haha" tanong nya as always

"Better!" Sabi ko ng may malaking ngiti sa labi. Kinuha ko na mga libro ko sa locker ko na kailangan ko sa first period ko at lumingon sa kanya

"Ikaw?" Tanong ko naman sa kanya

"Wow! Mukhang may asa good mood ngayong araw ah" sabi nya na nagpangiti sakin lalo at tumango.

"Ako din, I'm great too" sabi nya.

"Sa tingin mo Sir Ren will give us a test today?" tanong nya sakin. Hayy sobrang grade conscious talaga nito.

"Di ko sure eh pero sana hindi" sabi ko at tumawa naman sya.

Hindi na ako makapaghintay na matapos ang first at second subject ko. Sobrang tagal at sobrang boring talaga. Pero after naman nito makakain na ako. Yup, mahal ko ang mga pagkain, ano magagawa ko haha.

Finally, tumunog na ang bell kaya nagmadali ako pababa ng hallway at pumunta na ng cafeteria. Wala akong idea kung pano naging puno ang mga tables dito.

I saw my table, " the table of the populars". Yup, somehow somwhere isa ako sa popular kids dito sa school at ang weird.

There is Kelly, isa sa mga cheerleaders and she's my second bestfriend. And she's a bi.

James, captain of the basketball team, most popular guy at school, lahat ng mga babae nababaliw sa kanya pero player sya. Ang magulo nyang brown na buhok at ang sky blue eyes nya ang nagpapagwapo sa kanya.

Tapos si Ansley, captain ng volleyball team at teammate ko, oo, isa din ako sa player ng volleyball team and one of the best. Pero di talaga ako makapaghintay kay Camila na makarating dito because she is the best in volleyball, at obvious namang maglalaro sya para sa team.

Ansley is a beautiful girl too, with her long wavy brown har and green eyes too. Wala nga lang sya dito kasi kasama nya parents nya out of town.

Aish nakalimutan ko si River, my boyfriend. We have been dating for one year and a couple months of now. Sya ung pinaka cute, meron syang blonde hair and coffee brown eyes. Gentleman. Bestfriend sya ni James.
