But DIANA!!!!! I don't want to!!!!
Well, you WILL whether you like it or not!
Ugh! Why are you like this!??!! I wish you were never my mother! I screamed as I slammed the door of my bedroom. Hi. I'm.... let's just say Riley, in case my mangy, prissy no-good stepmother is reading this. My mother has been dead for.... About 2 years. But it feels like longer. After she died my dad, a quiet shy man that kept to himself married the richest, most-stuck up lady in town. Everyone agrees that she is the worst.
Well....actually, it's just me.
Her name is Diana. She was a pretty nice person but being the first person my dad had dated since my mom I was more than a little suspicious. But eventually, she grew on me. Every time she came to our house for dinner, she brought me a surprise. I loved the gift every time. I wondered how she knew what I liked but I didn't dwell on it. My dad probably told her.
So naturally, when she asked to marry my dad, I was more than happy. They got married in a big mansion and everything was perfect. My dad was happy, I was happy, Diana was happy and things should have been wonderful. But the second we got home and my dad was in the washroom, the nightmares started. She grabbed me by my dress and pulled me close.
