Chapter 7 : Painful Seasons

Roman, Cole and miss Olivia came in the room to support me till the doctor had to come with the results. "Shanya I opened up to my family, I told them." Roman said. I looked at him in concern and held his hand. "How did it go?" I asked with my broken voice. There was a change of facial expression and looked at me. "They kicked me out and currently I'm sleeping in miss Olivia's place so when you came in I heard you crying till she told me why you were crying and what happened." I looked at him and hugged him with so much sympathy. Cole stood up in anger. "What the hell is going on here?!" Cole asked in an angry manner. I looked at Roman and nodded his head. "Look Roman had trouble with his sexuality and coming out to his family and I had trouble with my cousin who recently Raped me." I told him. He got angry even more. "so Roman is gay?". I nodded in agreement and he was pissed. "My mother is suffering in sickness my father is cheating on her, my friend is gay while the other has been Raped." He cried while miss Olivia and Roman were comforting Cole. I felt nauseous and dizzy. I got up and vomited by the near by bin. Roman looked at me and looked at the time that it was 7:30 in the morning and it was too late. I went back to my bed and sat down just in case I felt like I wanted to vomit again. The doctor came in with some paper reports and laid them on the desk. "I am doctor Ndlovu and I see that miss Shanya has been Raped and it was too late to destroy or extract the sperms from the system and was already reacted towards the eggs, but no further damage was caused but I would advise her to go for concilling or trauma therapy. "she said." So what does that mean doc? "I asked in a horrid manner." You are pregnant, miss Shanya but you can abort the baby, adoption and tons of other options cause you are quite young to have a baby. " In an instant, I froze and looked up to miss Olivia then the doctor. My tears flowed slowly out of my eyes and gave everything some thought." I'll leave you to discuss about it, I'll be back within 15 minutes to hear your say. " and the doctor left the room.

Miss Olivia looked at me in concern as to what am I going to do to the child. "I am going to keep it, look I am a Christian and I believe that a child is a gift from God no matter how its given. I am going to school until my stomach shows then I can write exams online, learn online before I give birth and also have a job to provide for the baby. As long as no one will kill my child and as for Tyresse I will report him to the police and give them a statement or if he doesn't want that he was to support the child. Look I didn't ask for this but I have to do it wisely."I said with so much worry. Miss Olivia came to me and hugged me so did the rest." I will support you financially, and I can help you take care of the baby as long as you go to school and work hard, Shanya you are not alone in this, we all have your back. "Miss Olivia said with a warm smile. Cole tapped my shoulder." what will you tell your parents? ". I looked at Cole and told him that I will simply tell them everything and they can keep Tyresse in the house but if he doesn't want to see jail time, he will have to provide for the baby.
