Chapter 13 : A few years later

Its been 2 years now, I gave birth to a healthy baby girl and of course Roman and I are still together and he is helping me raise Tanikka also my mom so as miss Olivia. I was so lucky that, I had a full support team behind me. I still missed Cole. He said that he was going to come back after his mom's funeral but he didn't, instead, he left for two years. While I was at school, I needed to write my test for a scholarship to another private school and that was my ticket to study Business and architecture so I did. It took me 3 hours to write a test but I was sure that I passed so after school before I went home,i decided to pass by the church where Pastor Peter comforted us during those hard times but I saw someone familiar there. I went inside. The person turned around and it was Cole. I stood by the door. In shock. Until he turned around and saw me.

"Cole!" I ran to give him a big hug. He hugged me back.

"Hey, How are you and I heard that you gave birth to a baby girl already. It's been two years. WOW. How old is she?"

"She is one year, six months and her name is Tanikka."

"wow, I want to see her and what about Tyresse what happened and I heard that you guys  I mean you and Roman are a thing now."

"Yep, we are as for Tyresse he is serving time in juvenile and community service so yep for about 4 years, this is his 3rd year so yeah and where were you?" I asked

"I'm sorry, by the time were done burying my mother, we stayed a bit longer to mourn her soul. Then I went to therapy and I auditioned for being a Rapper and a dancer in the biggest company in South Korea so I was accepted and I became a trainee so as a trainee they take your phone but give you laptops to handle beats and learning Japanese too. I was supposed to be a trainee for 5 years but my exceptional work wowed them then I was released early and joined a boy band and signed a contract with them so it got me busy, the company only gave us 3 weeks to travel and see our beloved ones so yeah, I was supposed to go to America but yet I'm here in South Africa. "He explained with the biggest smile

" You changed a lot, and, I am also working too well part time and I am writing my entry exam to head to Germany for a college scholarship since I can't go into university. " I said till I heard a beep on my phone.It was a message from my school, surprised to see a message from Roman. I opened my school message first.

Congratulations!! , Miss Parks you have passed your entry exam and you are going to Germany within two months. Your flight ticket will be provided and all flight costs covered. You will head to the college's private plane and fly with the rest of those who passed so your ticket will be provided tommorow, via email. Keep your ticket safe. Hoping to see you there.

I busted with happiness and laughted and I needed to share this with everyone but the message from Roman scared me.

Babe: Shanya, you need to head to the hospital fast. Tanikka choked on a bone so we don't know what happened. Hurry😭😭.

I lost my strength as I told Cole that we needed to head to the hospital, the supported me and took me there. My Hands went through my big, soft, curly hair and my dark chocolate eyes were starting to develop tears and I prayed that my baby girl doesn't die nor ever leave me cause she was my source of strength.
