We started walking towards a road nearby, along with Simone and Rasmus tagging in front of us. I was walking on a big fallen tree on the road playfully trying to balance myself with my arms swaying in the air. "Y/N, get off, you'll get hurt if you fall," Martin said with a stoic face. I made a 'tch' noise before saying, "How am going to get hurt if the tree is barely a foot of the ground," Martin just gave me a look that said 'Get off or there will be consequences' I sighed before we all decided to take a break.

"I'm not buying it," Patrick suddenly said. Both Jean and I questioned, "What?" "Their little story about being in a bunker for six years," Patrick continued, "We don't know them, and we're following them like headless gooses." "Geese," both Martin and I said at the same time. "What," Patrick asked while looking at me. "The plural of goose is geese, therefore it's geese, not gooses," I smiled at Patrick's confused face. "The plural of goose is geese," Jean repeated at Patrick's stubbornness with not accepting the correct term. "Whatever," Patrick mumbled.

"Why are we following them? Just because they claim to know where we can find food? Look at her. She hasn't got a clue which way to go," Patrick remarked while pointing at Simone. "So you know where to find food Patrick," I raised a brow, looking at him. He stayed quiet but I knew his answer. "None of us know where to find food. Those two are our best survival options, if Martin chose them to help us then we'll be alright." I said in a stern voice. If we knew where to find food, then they'd be useless to us. I don't know what is Patrick's deal with the newcomers. With any newcomers, as a matter of a fact. He disliked it when Beatrice, Lea, and Jean first joined us.

What has been bothering me, is how did they get a bunker? They must have some sort of connection with someone that helped them. Apollon. Wait, Apollon isn't someone. It's something. I silently cringed at my stupidity for thinking that Apollon was somebody. Well maybe at some point, Apollon was a somebody, but then became a something. Weird. Martin then stood up and walked towards Simone. Oh no, what's he gonna start now? From the distance, I couldn't hear anything except words like rain, infected, and food.

On cue, my stomach started rumbling. I was exhausted, tired, and hungry. Patrick then looked at me concerned as I put my hands on my knees trying to not lose consciousness. I saw Rasmus in the distance playing with some leaves in a bush. He didn't look stressed, why would he be stressed? Even though I did hear Martin threatening Simone about shooting the siblings, I know that it's bluff. I stood up when I saw Simone walking away from Martin nodding her head as a way to tell us to follow her.

We started walking in a forest-like area with skinny trees. I walked behind with Beatrice and Rasmus by my side. I noticed that Rasmus kept looking up at the trees. "What's wrong," I asked while tilting my head. "Nothing just looking at the trees," he simply responded while still gazing up. I scoffed, "What's there to trees? They're just nature," "It's not only nature when you haven't been outside in 6 years," Rasmus said now looking at me. I stayed silent not wanting to disrupt his viewing in nature.

Beatrice then walked up more with the group leaving Rasmus and me behind. But not before she could give me a sly smile. Typical Beatrice, always trying to make me socialize with other boys. "Have you always been with them," Rasmus asked. I slightly laughed, "You could say that I'm Martin's sister," Rasmus's eyes widened like he had seen a ghost. Suddenly Martin said, "Stop. Stop!" We all stopped unexpectedly.

"What's that," Rasmus said while Patrick cursed, "F**k! They're here too!" Oh no, not this again. "Get down," Martin whispered yelled, not wanting to attract attention. I thought we fled from them. Why is this happening to us?! "Come on," Patrick pulled my wrist forcing me to crouch down. Patrick then got out the aluminum type cover to cover the group. "What's going on," Simone whispered as we heard a car door shut. I shushed her as we saw men outside of a car. "Who are they," Rasmus asked.
