Chapter 10

WARNING~~~~~~~ Homophobic slurs~~~~~~~~~~~

I had spent all weekend at Gavin's house swimming in his pool, eating anything we saw, and having fun ; ). Now he was driving us to school it was only a 10-minute drive so we were there fairly quickly. We pulled into the parking lot we sat in silence for a few minutes not knowing what to say. 

"Do you need a ride after school?" Gavin finally broke the silence.    

"Uh.. yeah if you could?" It came as more of a question than what I was going for, but what can you do?

"Ok let's go see Sophia and Grace."

~~~~~~At lunch~~~~~~~~~~~

I walked into the lunchroom spotting my baby chicks on the other side of the room, as I made my way across to them I stopped and got my lunch from the line. I had finally reached the table sitting down ready to eat this sandwich in one bite do to skipping breakfast, I looked up to see my 3 best friends all staring at me.

"What?" I ask a little confused. I looked at each expecting an answer, getting a little annoyed when they didn't answer.

"Did you sleep in class?" Sophia asks looking concerned.

"Yeah, last period. Why?"

"You might want to look at this," Grace said sounding a little sorry. She handed me her compact, making me even more confused. I open it looking at my reflection, some bitch took the liberty of writing the word 'FAGGOT' on my forehead in sharpie. That explains why I have been getting looks.

"Score!" I said handing Grace her compact back, "finally someone notices I work so hard to look gay and finally someone noticed!" I had somewhat yelled that so it attracted a few stares. 

"So we are going to find who did this and beat that ass right?" Sophia asked clearly not wanting a no.

"Sure but I get first hit." I already started my sandwich, "now can I eat?"

Gavin came and sat next to me wrapping his arm around my waist. "Is this an all-in thing or is it just you and Sophia?"

"You can join if you want."

"I think I want to watch your hot when you are angry."

"OK, then. Grace you can take lead on this one. It was in math with Mrs. Lake." 

"Writing is left-handed for sure. Most likely male." Grace examined the writing.

"Oh, it was Josh then." Let's say it wasn't a surprise.

Sophia stood, "there he is." She said pointing across the cafeteria, he was sitting with all the other jocks except Gavin, he sits with us.
