He opened his car door, he is a gentleman but still, you were trying to focus on new medical surgeries you could have done to your patient.
"So, Y/N why are you here ?" He asked while parking the car. You didn't feel like sharing personal data with your boss was a great idea so you change the subject.
"Uhm, you said coffee, not a restaurant " You were nervous, and he noticed that talking about your personal life made you uncomfortable; you still had the same outfit from the morning.
"I said that my friend could buy you a coffee, and I'm not my friend" He went out of the car and while he opened your door, you got deconcentrate because of him; you never get deconcentrate that's odd.
Melendez opened your door and help you to get out. The place where he took you was fancy, but The Top of Vancouver Restaurant is one of the most expensive and you can only eat there if you got a reservation.

"Yes, I did it when you told me about the other coffee" He smiled at you.
"Why ?" You were concerned.
"Why what??" He knew what you meant but he likes to be playful with you.
"Why you are nice to me if I challenge you at the operation ?" You were curious about it.
"Well, I like your courage at the surgery and also I wanted to apologize with you for what I said."
He gave you a simple smile.
He was handsome and you couldn't think straight so you decide to let things flow.
"So... tell me something about you," He said while looking the wine card
