Jolynes Buddies

Jolyne sat bored in class. Professor Straizo talked away about history and the economy and blah blah blah, Jolyne wasn't listening. Her grades were fine and none of her friends were in the class. Johnny was there, but she knew he'd be with his Italian friend all day and her brothers got her in enough trouble already.

Jolyne was most excited for lunch. It was the best part of school because there's no learning and teachers to deal with, just friends, and food. Jolyne couldn't wait to get her hands on the spicy chicken sandwich in her luck bag. She felt like drooling right then and there, but she didn't because that'd be embarrassing. She glanced at the clock on the side of the room and sighed. She still had about an hour before lunch, a long hour.

Then, Jolyne slipped her hood over her head and rested it on her desk. 'A little nap wouldn't hurt, I doubt Mr. Straz will care,' she thought. She slowly drifted off to sleep.

Jolyne woke up to the sound of laughter. She lifted her head and looked around confused. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary until she looked at herself. "What the hell? Am I naked?" she exclaimed. It was almost like the time she was caught mas- I mean.. nevermind.

The laughing increase when Jolyne's face flushed from embarrassment. Everyone was laughing, including Johnny. "What the hell are you laughing for? I'm the one who has to help you get changed half the time!" she snapped, but no one reacted. It was like they didn't even hear her.
Then, Johnny walked up to her and pointed a finger in her face, "you look so stupid! what kind of idiot comes to school naked? It's not like you belong here anyway!" he shouted.

Then it came to her. Jolyne was dreaming, of course, Johnny can't stand! She shook her head and shut her eyes in an attempt to wake up. Her head shot up from her desk and she gasped. She was sweaty and some drool was left on her desk. Her fellow students turned to her as Mr. Straizo said "did you have a bad dream? Maybe that'll teach you not to sleep in my class" and smirked.

Everyone was laughing again, but it didn't last long as the bell rang just in time. Jolyne was relieved, she really was saved by the bell in a way, she could deal with the embarrassment later. Jolyne speed walked to her locker and noticed two of her friends, Wes and Anasui. Anasui was holding a bouquet of blue flowers and talking to Wes.

"Hey Guys!" Jolyne said when she arrived and gave Wes a bear hug. They both laughed, but Anasui was heartbroken. "Where's my hug?" he cried and dropped the flowers. Jolyne and Wes broke apart, but Wes went to hug Anasui, which only pissed Anasui off. "Not from you, fool," he shouted and pushed him off. Wes shrugged but he was a little disappointed Anasui didn't enjoy it. Jolyne scolded him for being so mean which only added to his bad mood.

Anasui picked the flowers back up from the dusty floor and presented them to Jolyne. "I got these for you on my way here, what do you think?" he smiled. Jolyne froze and then began sneezing like crazy. She begged Anasui to put them away between her sneezing fit, but Anasui was frozen from shock. Wes stepped in and snatched the flowers. He ran to the trash bin at the end of the hallway and dunked them in there, then quickly returned to his friends.

Anasui look devastated. He offered his sleeve for her to wipe off her running nose. He also wouldn't stop apologizing, even though Jolyne insisted it was okay. They went back and forth until Wes was tired of hearing it and dragged them to the cafeteria.

When they arrived, F.F and Ermes were already at their table. F.F was drinking from a jug of water. She was always seen with water with her for some reason, some people thought she was some kind of alien. Ermes was eating from her tray of food from the cafeterias kitchen, which she claims to be gross, but eats it everyday anyway. Wes sat beside F.F, Jolyne and Anasui sat beside each other. When the boys took out their food, Jolyne realized she never got to grab her sandwich. "Hold on guys, I left my lunch in my locker, be right back!" she said and hurried out the cafeteria.

Anasui made sure she was gone before he spoke, "okay guys, we have an issue." That grabbed the tables attention but no one said anything, they all guessed it would have something to do with Jolyne. "Alright, I've tried everything to get Jolyne to marry me, but nothing is working obviously and I need all your help," he explained. The rest of them deadpanned, 'he's really serious?' they thought.

Ermes talked first, "you want to marry now? You guys aren't even dating!". Anasui thought for a minute, "but what if someone steals her?" he asked. F.F spoke up, "Jolyne isn't an object, no one can steal her! If it's that hard then we'll help you out," she rolled her eyes. "But man, you're moving too fast, it's not that easy to win someone over, you gotta take it slow" Wes explained, dragging out the "slow".

Anasui nodded in understanding, "so what do I-" he was cut off by Jolyne shouting "I'm back guys!" and waving her lunch as she took her seat. The friends jumped, they didn't notice her when she walked in. "So what did I miss?" she asked then took a bite into her yummy chicken goodness.

"Oh- We were just talking about uh our next class, I'm so not ready for Speedwagon's test," F.F blurted. Jolyne caught on and they started a new conversation.

Jolyne was really glad to have her friends, especially when her family was especially irritating to her at times. "Hey guys, you know I love you goofballs right?" she joked. Ermes awwed and pulled them in for a group hug, Anasui thought he was going to faint, what a weirdo.

I HAD NO IDEA WHAT TO WRITE AND I REALIZED I WROTE CLOSE TO NOTHING WITH JOLYNE, SO HERE. SORRY IM LAZY AF AND HAVE BEEN WATCHING A LOT OF OTHER ANIMES ALSO IDK WHAT STONE OCEAN SHIPS I REALLY LIKE OR WHAT Y'ALL WANT TO SEE.. ｡:ﾟ(;´∩';)ﾟ:｡ Jotakak next part *insert lenny face cuz I can't find it*
