(Kakashi x Reader) Just A Cute Love Story

Chapter 2

I woke up from the sunlight coming in through my window. I sat up in bed and looked at my clock. '7am. Sensei won't be here for a few hours.' I went to my bathroom and did my morning routine. Since I don't have alot of money yet, Lady Tsunade gave me necessities and food to last a few days. After I took a shower, i had only one other outfit. A black crop top with a fishnet undershirt, and some black shorts. I've never liked bright colors. My dad and brothers always called me a "happy emo" since I prefer dark colors but I'm usually upbeat and happy. But I'm also a total introvert.

I made myself a small breakfast. Just eggs and some biscuits. I started to read until Kakashi showed up. And at almost exactly 11 I heard a knock on my door. I opened the door to see him in his usual clothes except no jonin jacket.

"Hey, Sensei!" I said as I locked the door behind me.

"Morning, (Y/N)." He said "And you're still calling me Sensei."

"Well you are my Sensei."

"Yeah, but we're alone, you don't have to..." He trailed off, looking away from me like I had offended him.

"Alright, then Kakashi, what are we doing today?" He smiled a bit when I called him by his name

"Well, you said you aren't a people person, so how about we just walk and talk? We can get to know each other more"

"Okay, what do you want to know?"

"Umm, I guess likes, dislikes, hobbies and dreams for the future. Same things I asked my students when we became team 7."

"Okay, I guess I like being around my friends. I dislike people who are mean and can't mind their own business. My hobbies... I enjoy reading. And my dream for the future - never really thought about it. What about you Sen- I mean Kakashi?"

"I've never really thought about my dreams either. My hobbies, I have a lot of hobbies. My dislikes, I don't feel like telling you. My likes..." he thought for a second "I guess I like you."

My eyes went wide and I blushed looking away. Then he started to laugh at me

"I'm kidding, I like reading."

"oh yeah, haha. right..." 'why do I feel slightly disappointed that he was just kidding?'

"Oh here," he handed me a leaf village headband "Lady Tsunade told me to give it to you now that you're apart of the village."

"Oh thanks." I put the headband on and smiled.

We continued to talk and walk around the village. I gradually became more comfortable being around him. Then out of nowhere someone started yelling.

"KAKASHI!"

"Oh no" Kakashi said

"What is it?" I asked, we turned around to see someone who looked the same age as Kakashi with a green jumpsuit, orange leg warmers and a jonin jacket. He had a bowl cut and really big eyebrows.

"What do you want now, Gai?" Kakashi asked, he looked slightly annoyed

"Well, I'M HERE TO CHALLENGE MY RIVAL OF COURSE!" Gai yelled

"Gai, I'm busy. Can't we do this another time?"

"No better time like the present! Come on, let us race across the village WITH THE POWER OF YOUTH... uhh Kakashi, who's that?" He pointed to me

"This is (Y/N). She is my new student and she is new to the village and I'm showing her around."

"OH! Well, why didn't you just say so? It's nice to meet you (Y/N). I'm Might Gai, Kakashi's greatest rival." He grabbed my hand and shook it excitedly
