After the exhausting basketball practice, Yoongi decided to call up Namjoon and see if he was free to meet him at the cafe. Yoongi desperately needed a break, so he thought this would be the perfect opportunity to relax.

"Hey Namjoon, are you free today?

"Yeah, why?"

"Wanna meet up at the cafe? I'll be there in like fifteen minutes."

"Sure! I'll leave the house now. See ya!"

A cold iced coffee sounded incredibly refreshing to Yoongi right now, since he was practically sweating bullets. His wet practice clothes were still sticking to his skin, so as he pulled into the cafe parking lot he applied an extra coat of deodorant.

Running a hand through his damp hair, Yoongi looked out the car window to see if Namjoon's vehicle was there yet.

Not spotting the familiar Prius, he just went on his phone to waste time until his best friend arrived.

After a few minutes, a sudden knock was heard on the car window. Yoongi's heart basically jumped out of his chest as he tried to catch his breath in the process.

Rolling down his window with an annoyed expression on his face, Yoongi said, "Hey what the frick man!? I'm still trying to catch my breath from practice."

Namjoon just chuckled while shoving his hands in his pockets while motioning his head towards the cafe entrance.

Yoongi relunctantly stepped out of the car, quickly airing out his t-shirt in the cool weather.

"I'm thinking about getting an iced coffee, what do you want?" Yoongi asked.

"Ah pulling the classic Emma Chamberlain I see."

"Shut up, I'm still warm from practice. Now what do you want, I'll pay for you."

"Aw thanks Yoongi, I'll get a herbal tea"

As Yoongi went to order their drinks, Namjoon picked an empty table near a window of the cafe.

Since it rained early, the sky was still cloudy and the air felt quite cool and misty, which was quite pleasant compared to all the hot days they'd recently had.

"An iced coffee and herbal tea for Yoongi?" the barista called through the cafe.

"Thank you!", Yoongi said politely as he brought the two beverages over to where Namjoon was sitting.

"Thanks Yoongs, I'll repay you sometime."

"Don't worry about it, I invited you," Yoongi said with a slight smile.

Everything about Namjoon was just so sincere. Out of all of his friends, Yoongi felt like he could trust Namjoon the most. No matter the situation, he would always drop everything to help a friend and be very honest with you.

That's why he loved spending time with Namjoon, and treasured their friendship so much. He could tell Namjoon anything and he wouldn't judge him no matter the circumstance.

"How was practice? You seem worn out," Namjoon said with a concerned tone in his voice.

"Fine, but Chul was being annoying as usual," Yoongi said while taking a long sip from his iced coffee.

"Ah he gets on my nerves so much. Did he do anything to you?"

"Just tripped me and kept saying stuff to make me angry. But it didn't bother me, I'm used to it already," Yoongi said with a flat tone as if it was the most casual statement in the world.

"Can't the coach kick him off the team for not having good sportmanship though? During games last year he committed an insane amount of fouls."

"Yeah, I mean its not like he's beaten up anybody though. Plus, he's one of our best players."
