I haven't ranted in a while, so there is going to be a lot of tea spilt. Enjoy!

So for a while, I was talking to this guy. I thought he was sweet and all, and he was sending really sweet texts and all saying I was beautiful and all that stuff. So when he asked me to homecoming, I couldn't refuse. But then things took a turn for the worse. First, he started following me around like a puppy. I told him he could hang out with his friends while I said hi to mine, but he insisted he was fine with hanging with my friends. Then, we were on the dance floor and I was talking to one of my friends and he was just like hovering there. I was a little uncomfortable but I really couldn't say that to him. After my friend walked away, I heard him mumble "I'm going to break his f*cking nose." So I turned to him and told him he couldn't talk to my friends like that and whatever drama he had with them he needed to drop. After that, I just kinda avoided him. We didn't text for a while, and his attitude changed in person. We have English class together, and every time he would get up to get a tissue he would grab one and throw the box. He was huffing and puffing like he was going to blow a f*cking house down, and he was kicking his chair and sh*t like that.

Three weeks later, I was sitting after school waiting for my best friend to finish with her club meeting and writing a story. I had headphones plugged in, so I didn't hear him approach me. We sat there for a while and talked things over. I apologized for freaking out on him and he accepted it (now looking back, he never apologized for talking sh*t about my friend). All was good in paradise. But the honeymoon phase ended as soon as it started.

One of his friends is one of my friends, so whenever he does or says something to him about me I find out through our friend. The guy I was talking to started acting like before, kicking chairs and stuff. He would mention things that happened to us in a loud voice to him so that I would hear. And he would purposely do this all the time. I eventually confronted him about this problem, but it just made things worse.

I'm not the smartest person. I have made really dumb mistakes and have done some really stupid sh*t. But the biggest mistake of my high school career was sending that stupid b*tch homework.

At my school, we are issued laptops to use during almost all classes. So naturally, people would play games in class or read on Wattpad. But this wouldn't be a problem because someone could just send their notes to you. This became an issue with homework. At least everyone has sent homework once or twice, some more than others. So I was in a study hall, reading on Wattpad, when he walked up to me and asked me to send him the homework. I asked him what I would benefit from it and he said he would call me every night for the next week (which he never did). Me, a belligerent idiot, sent him the homework. English was at the end of the day, so he would've had time to do his homework instead of watching lacrosse and acting like a total douch (he's obsessed with lacrosse but acts like he's any good. B*tch please, you're the f*cking water boy). Throughout the day I looked at my grades and noticed I received a zero for one of the assignments for English. So I talked to the teacher, and he told me that me and that b*tch had the same paragraph. THE IDIOT DIDN'T CHANGE IT, HE COPIED MINE WORD FOR WORD. So thanks to him and my misplaced trust, I received 3 office detentions.

Now away from that boy drama and to another.

So my best friend (code name Veronica) started having this random crush on this guy I used to crush on. They were getting close and cuddly at the lock-in, so of course after she didn't know how she felt about him. I decided to play the middle-man and see how he felt. He told me he had feelings for Veronica but didn't know if she did. I assured him that she did and encouraged him to make a move with her. He asked her to winter ball and she accepted. So there we were at winter ball, me awkwardly third wheeling, and a slow song came on. Veronica and he date got up and danced together and I just kinda sat there. A cute freshman sat with me for a while,I think wanting to ask me to dance but idk. Veronica came back to the table and told me he just asked her to be his girlfriend and she said yes. Hold up, what?!? They just started talking a month before and he asked her to the dance THE NIGHT BEFORE. I didn't tell her right away, but I wasn't ok with that. She was moving WAY too fast, considering I was helping her with a different guy and one that was perfect for her. She was hung up on this other guy for the longest time and I BARELY helped her get over him. And now all the sudden she wanted to be with this dude?!? I had to sit there for like 20 minutes while she was practically giving him a lapdance before I announced how uncomfortable I was. But it didn't stop her. They dated for about a month, and that entire time she didn't talk to me. Still isn't to this day, and this all started the week before Valentine's Day (I mean, she gave me some of the candy she got from him but still. The guy I was dating for a while gave me one of those single Kit Kat bar things). Since then, it was awkward when we saw each other. But then my school got closed due to COVID-19, so I haven't seen her since February 28. I invited her to the mini birthday party I was having but she said she couldn't go with no explanation why, I assumed it was because of the boy but I guess I'll never know. I tried dming her and facetiming her when I found out they broke up, but she completely ignored me. I guess she just needs her space and I understand. But the thing is, when I started talking to that guy she didn't even give him a chance. She immediately pinned a target to him. I at least tried with her guy. But it's whatever, she's dating some girl now and I'm crushing on this guy in my math class. I'll spill more some other time.
