It's been the talk of the town, Weston knew that they were getting a new Fire Chief at the 126, he knew that Judd was going to try to get his job back, but he didn't know how that was going to go, Weston was nervous and he could tell Grace was nervous for him as well but they had to go to work, so Weston kept himself busy with his work but promised to check in on Judd later to see how it went, he was also worried at the fact Judd hasn't done his CSID yet, but Judd said he wasn't much for talking.
Weston was broken out by his thoughts by EMS rolling in a man with a chest tube, of course, this procedure wasn't allowed but he knew that Michelle Blake did it, she liked to bend the rules a lot.
"What do we have Michelle?" Weston runs over to the EMS rolling in a guy on the gurney.
"Marcos choked on a pepper, the airway was blocked in the field, blood was in the sputum. It was Boerhaave syndrome, he had a ruptured esophagus and he wouldn't have made it to the hospital so I suctioned the fluid that was in his chest cavity out so he wouldn't drown." Michelle was walking along holding the suction container which was off but the tube was still in his chest.
"I should reprimand you but I know you would do it anyway, clear an OR, get me some O negative and an NG-Tube, we're gonna need to repair the esophagus so it doesn't open and bleeds again," Weston tells his nurses who take over holding the suction and walk to the OR.
"He has no allergies and his family is on the way," Michelle tells Weston handing him the chart.
"Thanks, been arrested by Carlos lately?" Weston jokingly says.
"Yes, today in fact, now go save Marcos." Michelle's reply has Weston rolling his eyes but walking towards the OR anyway.

After a long day Weston was excited to see his kids, and of course his brother, he never got a free chance to check up on him but he knew that his kids would distract him.
Not only would Judd going back to work would affect Judd and Grace but it would affect Trixie and Lucas who was now used to staying with Judd after they got home from school, but that would be changing.
Weston knocked on the Ryder household still wearing his scrubs, he could hear his kids coming to the door which made him furrow his brows in concern.
"Hi, Daddy!" Lucas opened the door with Trixie right behind him.
"Hey Kiddos, where Is Uncle Judd and Auntie Grace?" Weston sits his keys down on the island looking for Judd but he can't see them.
"They're outside, they didn't want us to hear them talking," Trixie answers grabbing a snack out of the fridge and going to sit on the couch.
