Chapter 1~ How it started

It all started when I moved to LA. I wanted a fresh start. Living in New York reminded me of all of the memories I have dealt with. 3 horrible relationships, hardships, and my parents wanting me to be like my siblings. When I stepped out of the Uber and into my new apartment, I was ready for my new life to begin.

I moved in with my best friend Jenny. She moved to LA 6 months ago to pursue her acting career. Jenny has been my friend through tough and thin, so I am excited to live my life and see how it goes!

My parents were upset with me moving to LA. As I said earlier, they wanted me to be like my sibling. My older Sister was a doctor and my brother was a lawyer. They were heart broken when they heard I wanted to be a tiktok Star. They wanted me to go to college and get a "real job." But I am 20 years old and this is my life, so I moved to LA.

There are so many other tiktokers who live in LA and I get a great chance to meet them! I am almost at 2 million followers, and I am in their "league" to be friends with them.

"Y/N! How was the trip?!" Jenny says running out of her room to give me a hug.
"It was fine. I slept on the plane, so I have a lot of energy!" I say jumping up and down.
"Great! I know it's your first day but the hype house is having a party tonight! I was hoping we could go!" She says, with a big smile on her face.
"Since when did you know the Hype House?!" I say laughing at her big smile.
"Oh! I was in Chicken girls with Avani, and she introduced me to them!" She says.
"I can't wait for the party!" I say, unable to contain my excitement.
"Yeah! There is a lot of cute guys! Let's put your stuff in your room and get ready! We will go in 2 hours!" Jenny says, picking up my suitcases.
"How did you pick so light?!" She remarks, shaking my suitcase a bit to see what's inside.
"Oh, the rest of my stuff is coming in on Monday," I say laughing.
Jenny starts laughing and we go upstairs.

I unpack my stuff and get settled down.
"JENNY!" I say, screaming across the small apartment.
"What?" She says, walking into my room.
"What should I wear for the party?" I ask.
Jenny goes through a pile of clothes I have on my bed.
"This one is cute," She tells me, picking out a cute party dress.
"Let me try it one" I say.

I go to the bathroom and try on the dress. Boy did I look cute!

I put a cute necklace on that says my name, and I do some basic makeup, but make my eyeshadow glittery to match my dress.

When I get out of the room Jenny is gone. I continue to clean my messy unpacking, and Jenny walks in with her dress on.

"Jenny, this dress is so cute on you!" I say admiring her outfit.
"Thanks Y/N! Will you be a doll and do my eyeliner?" She says holding out her eyeliner pen.
"Of course!" I say moving my clothes away from the bed so she can sit down.

Once I finish Jenny's makeup, I grab my clutch bag and place my phone in it. Jenny grabs her purse and her keys and we head to the car.

On the drive I get nervous. What if something happens again at another party. We pull into the Hype House. I guess we will find out.
