CHAPTER 1
It has been 9 years since the wide-scale battle in London, and since we found Anna Lilly amidst the wreckage of that battle. She has been training ever since...training with Me, Seras and Pip. Pip has been teaching her hand-to-hand combat alongside Seras...Seras and Mark have been teaching her weapons and weapon combat, such as Guns...Blades and Blunt objects...Mark by himself and with some help from Alucard, to use her supernatural abilities in combination with her other skills, and with some tutors...to teach her regular knowledge.
Anna has grown up not just physically, but mentally as well. However, Sir Integra is growing older...and her time on earth is running short. She is unable to leave the Manor...Leaving Alucard to guard her and on some occasions Seras to guard her as well. So, in response to Sir Integra's growing conditions...the round-table and the British Government has agreed to, instead of take command of Hellsing and decide to dismiss the 'Supernatural' agents of Hellsing, hold trials for a second of command to not only knighted when Sir Integra passes, but to visit and attend meetings when Sir Integra is deemed unable to.
Unfortunately, the Second in Command has been by Sir Integra and the Round-table order, to be human. Trials have been conducted and is in the final five candidates. "Major General Matthew Stewart from the British Army, Vice Admiral Mel Collins from the British Navy, Air Commodore Joel Marshall from the RAF (Royal Air Force), Lieutenant-General Tom Carr of the Royal Marines, Agent Amelia Edwards of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) and former SAS.
Sir Integra looked through the files personally, each one...showing high commendations in leadership, and combat capability. She looked at the background of Matthew Stewart, has a history of underage drinking before initial enlistment into the Royal Army and had only two disciplinary actions taken against him in his enlisted years of the Royal Army. Sir Integra closed that file and set it on the right side of her desk. She then looked at Mel Collins, Same amount of commendations as Matthew Stewart but further digging into Collins history as a Vice Admiral shows a discriminatory pattern towards female officers. "It's a miracle how he became Vice Admiral." Stated Sir Integra before closing the file and setting it on top of Matthew Stewart's file. She then opened Commodore Joel Marshall's file, A little less commendations than the previous two candidates but was how he got to Commodore was interesting, his flight skills were not on par with that of great fighter pilots but he manage to save a private aircraft carrying several political people from not only a terrorist attack after fighting back, during which he and two others that helped him sustained an injury but, managed to landed the aircraft on a motorway in upper England safely by himself and was able to keep the pilots alive until emergency services arrived.
Sir Integra grinned at the impressive feat...she closed the file and put it in a separate stack. She then opened Tom Carr's file. His commendations were, questionable but confirm-able, however...as a little more disciplinary actions against him in his enlisted years. Sir Integra was not pleased and put his file on top of the other two to the right. She then opened the final file, Agent Amelia Edwards. Agent Amelia had a moderated amount of commendations but most of them were classified. "Typical MI6..." Sir Integra spoke. However the summary stated that Agent Edwards was able to stop several insurgency operations that not only threatens queen and country but it's allies as well.
