━━ Michael Clifford,
October Nineteenth. ━━

I think we were all dreading this moment.

━━ Jade Clifford. ━━

I know we were all dreading this moment. We all stood at the airport, crying and saying our goodbyes.

"I'm gonna miss you, Butt-Munch." Lillian said with tears threatening to spill in her eyes.

"I'm gonna miss you more, Butt-Face." I pulled her in for a long hug.

When we were done hugging, I turned to face my dad who was frowning and spacing out, "Dad?"

"Bug! Right," He hummed. "I have something for you." He dug in his pocket and pulled out a ring, smiling. "It's a promise ring. It's a promise that I'll be home before you know it."

I could've cried, but I held it in.

"Please come back home safe," I said softly, tears invading my vision. "I don't think I can do it without you."

"I will." He assured me as I put the ring on my ring finger. "Don't do anything I wouldn't do. I don't want to come back to your hair chopped off, and piercings everywhere."

I laughed softly, bringing him in for another hug. He rested his hand on the back of my head for a while. I felt the tears coming.

"I love you so, so much. Don't forget that, ever." He told me. "Don't you ever forget that."

"I won't, I love you more, Dad. Be safe, okay?" I frowned.

After a few more moments, My Grandma held me by her side as I watched everyone go back to their homes in Los Angeles for a day.

But here I stood, Alone, In a country I hardly go to.

Once me and my Grandparents got home, I felt it hit.

"Alright dear," My grandma smiled sympathetically at me. "Me and your Grandpa are gonna go run some errands. Do whatever you please, We'll be back."

I nodded and gave them a small smile. I walked up the stairs as they left and went into the room my dad stayed in. It was laid out neatly, and I felt upset. I missed my dad.
