You now stood quite embarrassed.

"No I'm not joking."

He sighed and rubbed his temples. He then looked at the frozen pond. Then back to your embarrassed, rigid figure.

"Alright."

You looked at him shocked at his calm demeanor.

"Alright? What do you me-"You were cut off and he picked you up. He started walking onto the ice, eventually he set you down in the center of the pond making you squeal, clinging onto his figure.

"LEVI WHAT THE HELL"

"Keep your voice down" he hissed at you and you shut your mouth. He reached down to your feet and with swift movement, ice skates were soon underneath your boots. The blades were made from ice.

"What..."

"I said keep your voice down." You glared at him as he leaned up towards your face, creating a thick tension between the two of you. "Or I'll make you."

His lips were very close to your own, creating a blush on your face even deeper than before. You pushed him away and that was your worst mistake.

You fell on your knees quickly, slipping on the slick, flawless surface of the ice. Your face burned a bright red, and you felt embarrassed.

I'm going to have to ask for his help, or I'm stuck here...

Taking a deep breath, speaking calmly your eyes looked up at him. His face was passive and no emotion showed whatsoever.

"Levi...I'm sorry. Please help me..."

His eyes stared down at your figure, rather smug in fact. You wanted to slap him, but...you were in a dilemma at the moment and you couldn't afford to get on his bad side.

"I don't know what you just said...I'm afraid you're mumbling."

You glared at him and spoke louder, "I. am. Sorry."

He smirked and leaned down offering his hand, "That's what I thought."

Bastard...

He pulled you up so you were standing. But you clinged onto his sweatshirt, not that you wanted to, it was simply because you had too.

"Alright. Hold on to my hand..."

"Ohk..." You were submissive to his order because you were stuck in the middle of a pond. He was your savior and torturer at the moment.

He gently lifted off the ice surface and held your left hand in his own, which ignited a tingling in your fingers. You stood on your feet, shaking like a leaf. He soon pulled you forewords towards him as he floated backwards. You slid along with him, blushing like an idiot.

Why does this feel all too familiar...

"You know, you have ice skated before. You just don't remember...they never do."

You looked up at his figure, he wore a saddened expression. His eyes were cast downwards as he floated around with you shuffling behind him.

"What do you mean?" you had wondered,

Is that why no one else could see him?

Maybe, it's because kids forget. Or never see him at all.

"Levi is my real name. Kids only know me as Jack. I'm also just a story." His eyes looked up slowly at your shuffling figure. You tilted your head and he sighed, continuing his explanation, "They forget me because I am only a story to most children. They only see me for a certain time, and then they grow up. It's only natural to stop believing."

"But don't you have more children after that? That believes in you anyways, to replace the old ones?"

"No," by now you both had come to a stop. Levi gently floated down to the ice and leaned against his staff which had appeared in his hand, "Less and less children believe in Santa, the Tooth fairy, the Easter bunny, sandman. I'm just a minor story about winter. So it's easy to forget. Most children don't know who I am anymore."

By this time, you couldn't bear to see the sad expression take over his features. You shuffled closer to him and he looked at you surprised.

"(Y/N)-"

"Stop!" you grasped his shoulders and shouted at him, making I flinch slightly.

"The hell-"

"No!" Your grip tightened on his shoulders, "Stop! You are important. If you don't want to be forgotten, I can help. I'll read your stories to kids, I'll tell people about you! I'll make people believe! I'll make you happy! I love winter, I know children do too! So they would love you!" you lowered your head and shut your eyes, still yelling at his now frozen figure. "I, (Y/N) (M/N) (L/N) still believes in Levi, A.K.A Jack Frost!"

You huffed slightly after that, and it took you a minute to recover. You remained frozen where you were, and you felt a hand cup your chin and pull your head up.

He looked at you, his eyes filled with something you couldn't describe. He had silver snowflakes surrounding his iris. It was rather beautiful, his lips were parted and he inched closer to your figure, you took a minute to realize what was happening. But before you could speak, chapped lips had been placed on your own.

Your eyes widened, but then fluttered shut...

This must be a dream...

You kissed him back in a gentle manner, you weren't pushy, but it was enough to give him a response. Like a permission. He soon wrapped his arms around your shaking figure and held you tightly. You opened your eyes as he pulled away. It was a small kiss that only lasted a few seconds, but it felt like forever as you stared into his eyes.

When he spoke it was in a gentle manner, you had never heard something so smoothing, let alone comforting. When he spoke those next words, you gained butterflies in your stomach.

"Thank you...for believing in me..."
