The next morning, you woke up to bright light of the sun peered directly to your eyes, which had you opened only one eye. Taehyung was nowhere to be found, so you forcefully got up from the couch into a seated position with your arms outstretched. Then you just sat there pensively.

You rubbed your eyes, yawning with your mouth wide open. Only to be ended up coughing that you chocked by the air when you saw Taehyung looking at you at your far right.

"Tae–" you cleared your throat as you surprised by the hoarseness. "Um... good morning, Taehyung." You greeted. You quickly got up to your feet that you almost stumbled because of your clumsiness. Well, what's there to blame for when you had just woken up.

The right corner of his lips stretched upward to his amuse seeing you being clumsy. "Good morning." He greeted you back. "Did you sleep well last night?"

"Yes I do." You nodded, but then you felt a sharp pain in your neck. You placed your hand where the pain was, slowly nodded with a subtle smile. "Sort of."

He chuckled, then making his way to you. You didn't know what to do, so you just sat still on the couch. He reached out his hand, and you saw a pink color hair tie in his hand.

"Can you please tie my hair?"

You were reluctant to take the rubber band from his hand, but you knew you couldn't turned it down because of the fact that he actually asking for your help although it's not much of a big deal. "Oh... um, okay..."

You were about to stand up on your feet when Taehyung repositioned his wheelchair with his back facing you. And that made you confused so much. "Uh... do you want me to tie your bangs or tying it into like, a short ponytail?"

He looked over his shoulder, looking at you behind his long hair that covering his eyes. "My bangs." He shortly answered, and then he turned to his front. "Oh okay."

You brought yourself closer to him, trying to reach for his front hair but since you were sitting on the couch, you couldn't even reach for his head. So you stood on your feet. You brought yourself closer to him again, figuring out how you're going to tie his hair.

You had just woke up and the first thing you did early in the morning was to tie his hair. Life's good, life's great.

Your hand was halfway there to touch his hair, but you halted. You were hesitant whether you should go for it or not. You clasped your hands as you cleared your throat. "Taehyung, before I proceed, I want to apologise to you in advance for the pain you're going to feel when I tie your hair later on."

He shrugged. "It's okay. I don't mind. I can endure it don't worry."

You nodded, as if he can see you nodding. "Okay then. Here I go." You wrapped the hair tie the rubber band in your mouth, carefully you gathered his hair that covered his eyes. Your fingers smoothly ran through his hair, and finally his bangs were tied up. "All done." You said, and he moved the wheelchair forward then stopped to turn around and facing you.

He put his hand on his head while he blankly looking at you. Then he smiled. "Thank you, Suyin."

You nodded, returning his smile with your smiling face. "You're welcome. Oh, did it hurt when I tied it just now?" You asked as you're ready to apologise.

"Not at all." He said, shaking his head.

"Ah okay then. I guess I had to... prepare for your breakfast first then." You excused yourself, making your way to the kitchen. As you walked past him, his eyes were fixated on you without you realising it.

"Okay. Let me know when you're done." He said, then he went to his room. You kept yourself busy in the kitchen, making him egg sandwiches and coffee. You heard a squeaking sound of a door that driven you to turn around. You saw Taehyung leaving his room and heading towards the bathroom.
