Was this just a dream? Again?

No. He really did kiss you. For real. You found yourself comfortable in his arms as you hugged him back.

"I feel the same."

You looked up to his face. "Hm?"

And at the same time, he looked down at you. "I'm in love with you too."

You blinked, wanting to smile but suddenly one single negative thought began to take over your head. And it made the smile on your face disappear.

"No... who am I kidding? I can't—"

You tried to leave, but he caught you by your waist and pulled you back to him.

"What's wrong?"

You avoided his eyes, because you didn't want to fall into denialism of your own mind.

"I don't know... if we can actually, be together. Like, you're perfect. And I'm not. You deserve to be with someone who is prettier than me, and can take care of you better than me." You said. You took a deep breath and let it out slowly, before you gathered all your courage to finally meet his eyes.

"I'm nobody special." You added, with a melancholic tone.

You expected him to say whatever he has to say about that, but instead he crashed his lips onto yours. Roughly. But not too rough.

He broke the kiss, had you struggling to catch your breath.

"The patience you have to deal with a terrible guy like me, and your determination to help me throughout my healing process, the way you stood up for me when people tried to bring me down, and the fact that you even chose to leave your home just so you can fully support me..."

He tucked your hair behind your ear.

"...if those are not the things that make you special, I don't even know what is."

He brushed his thumb across your chin, corner of lips stretched into a smile. He was overwhelmed with elation.

"Someone who's prettier than you? Better than you?" He let out a soft snort, shaking his head. He averted his eyes from your lips to your sparkling eyes.

"You are enough."

His finger traced every inch of your flawed face. When his lips connected with yours, it felt surreal. It gave you a whole new odd feeling.

Euphoric feeling.

And so, both of you spent the rest of the night in each other's arms.

The next morning, the sun rises and the ray of the morning sun peered through the window had you awakened. You tilted your head up, trying to process your surrounding. Then you laid back down.

It took you a few minutes to actually realise, that you actually lied down right next to Taehyung. The way you struggled to get up somehow unintentionally woken him up.

"Huh?" He jerked his head up, one eye half open and the other one still closed.

"Oop— sorry Tae. I gotta make your breakfast." You set your leg down the couch, and you were halfway there to move your right leg when Taehyung caught you.
