Realizing What You Lost...

Keragen's POV:
I woke up the next morning thinking Dustin would be in the kitchen cooking everybody breakfast before he went to work. You miss the little things that you take for granted. Like Dustin cooking us breakfast, having that older person to talk to about things that you are going through. I can't believe that he is really gone.
Today all of us are planning the funeral. I get to pick out the headstone which I never thought I would be doing for my brother when he was 24. I mean he didn't get to graduate from medical school. Get a job as a pediatrician or have a kid or a wife.
I got to design a headstone for him which is gonna have his name on it and it is gonna have a concrete basketball on it because he played basketball for the University of Florida. It is gonna have one of his senior pictures on it and on the back it is gonna have all of our names in the family on the back.
The people finally left our house after we got everything planned out and tomorrow is the viewing and funeral.
Stephen got to pick where he was buried and he didn't tell anybody. Camden didn't really know what was going on so we let him pick out what we were gonna dress Dustin in and Cami got to pick out what casket.
" Luke do you wanna go shopping for an outfit to wear tomorrow?"
"Yeah I don't have very nice clothes to wear to a funeral."
" At my grandpas funeral Dustin said that he didn't want anybody to wear black to his funeral so no black we have to wear colors and he wants somebody to sing a song he didn't really specify what song so I think you should sing with my cousin Shania."
" Okay. When am I meeting her?"
" Today she just asked me to meet her at the mall."

We got to the mall and went to Finish Line to meet Shania because I needed to get new tennis shoes.
" Shania!"
" Oh my goodness I missed you I haven't seen you since we both left for college."
"Where is Bailey at?"
Bailey is shania's boyfriend. I used to have the biggest crush on him in high school but he was 3 years older than me and I didn't wanna date somebody in college when I was a sophomore In high school. We were still best friends though.
" Keragen! How have you been?"
"Good. How are you?"
" Great. Who is this?" Bailey said pointing at Luke.
" Shania, Bailey this is my boyfriend Luke Bryan."
" Hi Luke" Bailey said shaking his hand.
"Hi Bailey." Luke said.
" So me and luke are gonna go get food because I'm hungry do you guys wanna come?"
" Yeah where are we going?" Shania asked.
"Well we could go to T.G.I Fridays or Olive Garden," I suggested.
" Olive Garden." Shania and Bailey said at the same time.
" Okay let's go."
We walked to Olive Garden and sat down to eat.
The waitress came and asked us what we wanted to drink.
"Sweet tea." Luke and I ordered.
"Coke." Bailey ordered.
"Sprite." Shania ordered.
" Okay I will be right back with those."
" So shania. At the funeral Dustin wanted you to sing at it and mom and dad asked luke to sing with you too."
" Okay so what should we sing luke?"
" what songs did Dustin like?"
" He liked the song them boys by Brantley gilbert."
" We could sing that. We could both play guitar."
"Yeah. We will have to practice toady though."
" Okay we can meet at my house." I suggested.
"Alright we will meet there after we get our clothes."
"Alright."
We got done eating and went to Hollister. I got a pair of high waisted shorts, a gray tank top and a navy blue cardigan to wear over the tank top.
After we went to hollister we went to American Eagle for Luke. Luke got a pair of jeans and a red V-neck.
After American eagle we went to this place where I usually get my vans and converse. I don't know what the name of it is so yeah. I got a new pair of grey vans.
Then we went back to did nosh line to get my new roshe runs. I got a pair of red ones with grey bottoms and a white nike sign. I love shoes so much. I also got a pair of nike Elite socks to match them.
After that we went back to my house to wait for shania and bailey.

When we got home we took our stuff downstairs to my room and tried everything on.
" How do I look?"
"Amazing. How about me?"
" Good I love it when you wear red."
" Really. Might have to keep that in mind."
" KERAGEN WHERE YOU AT GET YOUR ASS UP HERE." Bailey yelled.
" Jesus Bailey you don't have to yell."
" Luke you ready?" Shania asked luke.
"Yeah let me go get my guitar."
Luke came back up with his guitar and they started playing the song.
