Mr. Clark unlocked the door,and there stood an old fashioned time machine.
"WOW!" Lily and Nicolas said at the same time
"It's amazing!" Lily exclaimed.She kind of meant it but but also kinda didn't because it look very old and more difficult to work out then the ones they have nowadays.
"Is THIS what you used to get here?" Mr.Clark asked with a huge smile on his face
"Um..not really......" Lily said in a way,trying not to upset him.
"It is the most valuable object in our Time travel Gallery though!" Nicolas said,trying to make it sound better.
"Hmmm....what year do you kids even come from?" Mr.Rider asked,sounding interested.
"We come from the year 2022." Nicolas answered.
"Oh,i see...." Mr. Clark said. "Anyway, we have spent a long time trying to work on this,we just cant get it right!"
"He points at the back of the machine,oil was drooling out of it.
"We don't know what we are doing wrong." Mr. Rider explains. "It is ever so confusing.Oh...wait a minute..." He pauses. "Since you kids are from the future, you know how we fix it! You can tell us what we have been doing wrong!"
"Well...It's not really like that..We only came here to stop something bad that is about to happen back in the future.We cant change anything else,because if we do,then ALOT will change when we go back." Nicolas explains.
"This is just something little,it won't change ALOT will it?" Mr. Rider said.
Lily and Nicolas thought for a while.They did think it wouldn't change ALOT when they go back,but they had to follow the rules.
"Sorry,we can't." Lily replies.
Mr. Rider sighs.
"Well,ok then." He says." So you are here to stop something happening in the future that is caused here?"
"Yup." Nicolas says.
"What IS the problem that gets caused here then?" Mr. Clark asks.
Lily thinks for a while. Mr.Rider back in the future said that they 'Had to find out themselves',so that's what she told Mr. Clark and Mr.Rider.
"So you have to find out yourselves?" Mr. Clark asks.
"I guess." Nicolas said.
"And you will need our help,right?" Mr. Rider added.
"Yes,sir." Lily said.
"Ok then,what are we waiting for? Lets go find out what causes a problem in the future!" Mr. Clark shouts out loud.
"YAY!"
Lily and Nicolas high-fived.
This was going to be a fun adventure!
