A few hours later, Lily's stomach started to rumble. She was very hungry. "Help? Anyone?" Lily said weakly. She'd been down there for a long time and nobody, not even one, walked past the hole. Suddenly, Lily felt a rumble under the ground she was sitting on. "Hello?" She whispered. It rumbled again. Then, the ground collapsed. Lily fell into a darker hole. This hole had no ground. Lily just floated in the dark atmosphere. Then, she heard a voice,"Welcome to W.B.T.T.A!" The voice said.
"Um... What does that stand for?" She asked, looking around to see a person somewhere.
"It stands for World's Best Time Travel Agency." the voice spoke sounding like whoever was speaking had a smile on their face.
"Time travel?" Lily asked, confused.
"Yes, let me show you."
The dark hole began to transform into a huge building. Lily landed and she saw adults and children walking around in suits and business clothing.
"Hello!" said a boy around Lily's age.
"Um.. hi?"
"I'm Nicolas and im the person you were talking to just now."
"Um, ok."
"Let me show you around."
"Um, ok?" Lily said.
Nicolas walked her around the building and showed her every room they walked past(except the boys bathroom and the room that said 'private' on it).
They continued walking around the huge building. Then,
they bumped into a tall man holding papers and folders.
"Hi dad!"Nicolas said.
" Dad? "Lily said
" Yeah, this is my dad and he's the boss. My great, great, great,great grandfather founded this place. "Nicolas explained.
" Hello, um-"
" Lily, my name is Lily."
" Well then, Lily your welcome to W.B.T.T.A!" He said smiling." If your wondering what it stands for it-"
" I know what it stands for, Nicolas told me. "
" OK then, follow me. " He said.
They walked down an other long hall to the boss's office.
He told her his name that was Mr.Rider or Agent D.
He said that she was taking things really well as that she fell into a deep dark hole, the ground rumbled, she entered a dark atmosphere, heard a random voice saying hello to her out of nowhere and got told she was in a time travel agency with a lot of hall ways. Lily realised she was taking this well and she began getting worried and asking questions. Nicolas explained to her and Mr. Rider offered her a job there.
"What, but I'm only nine, I'm too young for a job, especially at a Time travel agency."
"Age doesn't matter, your the chosen one." Mr. Rider said.
She wasn't really sure about it so Nicolas showed her to her dorm and she excepted to make the choice the next day.
In the morning,Lily woke up with a little puppy licking her with a smile."Ew." she said,waking up tiredly.She wasn't expecting a dog lick for her first morning at W.B.T.T.A . "Hey,buddy come here." Nicolas said,quietly opening the door to lily's dorm."Sorry to disturb,Buddy is used to welcoming new agents here." Nicolas explained,picking Buddy up and giving Lily a small smile. "It's ok,but please don't call me agent,I don't know If i'd want to have a job here,after all,I still have a family on Earth." sighed Lily. "This is Earth,were just in a secret part of it,see." Nicolas got a map of the Earth out of his pocket."We're,um,here." He pointed at a part of the map. "But your pointing at the ocean." Lily said confused and squinting at the map. "People that don't know about this place haven't put it on map so you have to just imagine it.If other people around the world knew about this place you would't be talking to me right now in this dorm.This place has to be kept a secret." Nicolas said,giving the map to Lily and letting Buddy run free in the hallway."If, this place has to be kept a secret,how did I get here?" She asked suspiciously. "You didn't come here yourself,we chose you,well we didn't technically,you were already chosen.My Great,great, great,great Grandfather and Your great,great,great,great grandfather founded this place.They made an oath that their Great,great,great,great grandchildren would go on the most important mission in the world. Since you and I have no other siblings, you have nobody to take your place for you.You have to,if you don't,then you'll put everybody in danger..." "I still don't understand why I should-" "Nicolas!Wake Lily up!We need her for her answer!"Mr.Rider shouted. "Please do it Lily,we need you." Nicolas walked out of the dorm.Lily sighed.She couldn't believe what she had just heard.If it was true,she had to do her best except the job. A few moments later,Lily was sitting in the meeting room around the large table surrounded by agents,Nicolas and Mr.Rider. "Well? Have you made up your mind?" Mr Rider asked,expecting an answer straight away.Nicolas looked at Lily and he gave her a desperate face.The agents turned to her and gave her desperate faces.She took a deep breath and remembered what Nicolas said earlier in the morning."If you don't,you'll put everybody in danger..." "So Lily,what's your answer?" Mr Rider asked again. Lily took a deep breath and thought about what Nicolas said again and then she answered,"Ok,I'll do it,to protect the world." She claimed. All the agents including Nicolas and Mr Rider stood up and gave Lily a loud applause.She smiled to herself and felt happy that her and Nicolas were the chosen ones to protect the world from grave danger.Lily felt like a hero and was happy that she finally had the chance to do something useful. "First,"Agent S said(one of the agents)."You have to know HOW to time travel." "You need to learn about how it works." Agent C explained. "After learning how it works,you'll start practising in simulators." Agent W said. "We'll tell you everything else when its time."Said Mr Rider. "I'm ready to do anything sir." Lily said proudly. "Good,let's begin." Mr Rider said smiling. They all left their seats and got to work to helping Lily get ready for the coolest day of her life!
