Snape's POV

I was almost out the doorway when I heard a painful gasp behind me, turning around I saw Miss Black staring infront of her. "Miss Black." She didn't seem to be registering to what I was saying, "Miss Black are you alright?" I asked but she only stared infront of her. I walked up to her and her eyes met mine, green eyes filled with worry, pain and emotion, before they closed. I caught her gently around her waist and picked her up slowly.

Third Person

Alecto groaned softly as she woke from her unconscious state. She opened her eyes and tried to focus on the sight above her, a celing, the hospital wing ceiling. She frowned as her vision cleared up and wondered why she was there, last thing she remembered was Professor Snape, tea, and a sharp pain in the back of her mind.
She slowly sat up, feeling a little light headed.
"Good morning dearie." said Madam Pomfrey as she walked to the girl.
"Morning..." Alecto muttered and looked at her, "what happened?" She questioned the woman.
"Well, you fainted and Severus brought you here, with some tests we were able to come to the conclusion that someone tried to penetrate your mind but unfortunately we have no idea whom."

"You mean someone was trying to read my mind?"
Alecto frowned, why would someone want to enter her mind? She was nobody really.

Breakfast was brought down to her, which was nice, she didn't feel like explaining to anyone at the great hall as to where she was, although she was getting bored just laying around since she didn't even have one of her books.
She got up slowly from bed around lunchtime, planning to just sneak off.
"Where are you off to Miss Black?" Alecto turned to the voice and saw Dumbledore smiling kindly at her.

"Professor Dumbledore." She smiled back, "I was hoping to be able to attend the rest of my classes today."
The old wizard let out a chuckle, "It does get quite lonely in here at times, I'll allow you to return to your dormitory for the day, but no classes, I've already arranged with your professors to give you the work tomorrow and take it easy on you." Alecto nodded and was on her way out when his voice stopped her again. "Oh and Miss Black, stop by Professor Snape's office sometime, I've asked him to discuss something with you. And don't go wandering outside."

With another nod Alecto left. She had to see Snape? Why? Maybe he tried to enter her mind- then she remembered his eyes, the look she saw in them before she blacked out, all that emotion. It couldn't be him, could it?

She walked past the great hall and peered inside, she decided she wasn't hungry and started walking towards the Slytherin common room.
She walked past potions class and Snape walked out as she passed by.

"Miss Black." He greeted coldly.
"Sir..." she stopped and turned to his blank expression.
"A word please." He stated, walking back inside his classroom, she mentally groaned and rolled her eyes.

"I assume Madam Pomfrey had told you why you ended up in the hospital wing."
He moved infront of his desk and turned to her. Alecto nodded slightly, "Yes sir, and Dumbledore told me to come see you?"
"Yes, I did want to see you and I'm glad I get to speak to you now since you wont be attending any classes today, as you are aware, somebody tried to enter your mind-"
"-Like read my mind or something?" Alecto interrupted, walking up to Snape.
Looking slightly annoyed for being interrupted he nodded, his onyx eyes staring into her forest green ones.
"Yes, that's quite the whole point of entering someone's mind, reading it, controlling it."
Alecto frowned, control it? Why?

"So as we know, you are clearly unable to keep your mind closed off to that certain person, so I'm offering to help you."
Professor Snape offering me help?
Alecto raised her eyebrows in question, "How?"
Snape scowled softly, "Occulumency lessons, obviously."
She frowned, "You're going to break into my mind in order to help me block people out of my mind..." she stood hesitantly. This meant he was going to see her memories.
"Yes." Was all he said as he just looked at her.
