"Hey Carrie."
I turned around the corner to see Miranda standing in my front door. "What are you doing here?" I asked.
"Well, your alone, so I thought I would come join you for a little bit. I brought hot cocoa."
"Thanks, but you don't have to. Go back home."
"No. I don't want you to be alone and unhappy. You've always been alone and I don't want you to be like that any more. You are my best friend, so put on some Christmas music and let's have a good time"
"You don't need to remind me about my life." I said. I put on Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and we sat on the couch.
"So, what do you want to do?" Miranda asked while pouring the hot cocoa.
"I don't know."
"I know that your used to being alone, but you can't be like this. You need to get what happened off your chest."
"Miranda, what do you want me to do? I'm not going to talk to a therapist or anyone like that. It would be to hard."
"You can talk to me about it. I really think it will help you a lot."
That is when all the memories came flooding back; I started to tear up. I'm not sure if I can do this.
