Everyone else watched with worried looks on their faces as Vinnie Vincent kneeled down before me.
"WHY DID THIS HAVE TO HAPPEN TO ME?! WHHHHHY?!!!!!
Vinnie wailed while Michelle and the guys tried their best to calm him down.
Paul checked my pulse and saw that I was still breathing.
"Don't worry Vinnie. Your dog will be okay, he needs medical attention for his gunshot wound and Emily will need to be rushed to the nearest hospital".
Vinnie's eyes were red from crying.
He wiped away his tears from his face with the side of his hand.
"I'm s-sorry".
"It's okay Vinnie, we're not mad at you.
Michelle reached out and gave Vinnie a comforting hug and he smiled and accepted it.
"Your protective instincts just kicked in because you care so much about Emily and your dogs".
