Tommy Thayer Gets Kidnapped?!

Chapter Twenty

Vinnie went to the waiting room of the hospital and he sadly told the other guys what had happened.

"So, the baby passed away before it was born"?

Eric Singer asked the ankh warrior.

"Unfortunately yes. I don't know how this could've happened".

Vinnie replied, wiping the tears away from his eyes with a tissue.

"How's Emily doing"?

Paul asked.

"She's really upset about it, and then the nurses asked her if Emily wanted to hold the baby, and she did say yes, but then she started crying because of the death of our first child".

Vinnie was sobbing quietly and then the doctor came and asked if the rest of the guys wanted to come and visit me in the recovery room.

"Sure thing doc".

Eric Singer got up from where he was sitting and together, they all walked slowly into the recovery room.

I was still crying and Paul almost felt like crying too.

Then, Michelle called Tommy Thayer and told him that she was on her way to see the new baby.

"Emily, I'll be right back, okay? I need to take this phone call".

Tommy smiled small and gently stroked my forehead to comfort me.

The second spaceman went back to the waiting room to talk to Michelle on his cell phone.

"You sound like you're sad my spaceking. Is everything okay"?

Michelle was driving her Jeep who was named Space.

"There was...some compilations with the birth. The doctors had to surgically remove the baby from Emily's stomach. But then they discovered that it...had passed away a few hours ago when she and Vinnie first got here. Vinnie took her to the hospital as soon as Emily's water broke and...

Tommy could hear Michelle crying bitterly.

"Oh Tommy, I can't fucking believe that the poor thing didn't make it".

After Tommy hung up the call with Michelle, he walked back to the recovery where I was at.

"Maybe the concussion she had made her body act differently than normal, perhaps that's why her reproductive system malfunctioned, causing the death of the unborn infant"?

The doctors and nurses were all trying to figure out why the baby passed away.

"That might be a possibility, and she had no trouble with pregnancy".

Gene concluded, thinking for a moment.

Soon, Michelle came into the hospital and she was still feeling bad for the sweet little baby.

Vinnie was still sad about what had happened, but he knew that he had to be brave for Emily. He didn't want her to get depressed or start doing drugs to cope with her emotional pain.
