The 1955 General Election has 172 participants. The result, the Big Five top ranked winners; #1. PNI, National Party of Indonesia (Masyumi) got 119 seats. #2. Council of Indonesian Muslim, 112 seats. #3. Islamic Scholars Revival Party (N.U.) 91 seats. #4. Indonesian Communist Party (P.K.I.) 80 seats. #5 Indonesian Islamic Union (P.S.I.) 15 seats
From this point, The Communist Party, started to gain power, after the year 1948 Madiun Rebel.
Although the result of African Asian Conference (April 1955) in Bandung city, has laid down the foundation of Non-Aligned Countries, but due to Indonesian Communist Party, gained back the power, then Indonesia started to blinked to Left Blocks: Soviet and China.
The 300 years experienced the Dutch colonialization has made Soekarno had in his mind to became Anti-West and Anti-Imperialism. And after made a good relationship with the Soviet and China, Soekarno's Ideology views tended to became Marxism and a bit crypto-communist.
