Oh my god... It's almost going to end soon! DUN DUN DUN!
Well, you know me, I like writing happy romances. Hmm, I'm thinking of a new story...
But anyways, I updated pretty quickly and here it is! thanks for reading!
The next day I went to work, Connor seemed pissed. I’m not sure why, it’s just that he stopped being in the same rooms I was in, and he didn’t even try to keep a conversation going. In fact, everything I said pissed him off.
For the next two days, we ended up not talking at all. My hopes were raised up every time he was in the same room as me, but typically he avoided me, not even acknowledging my presence in the same room.
Fine then, ignore me you butthole.
In fact, Jeremy and I will spend time together. I asked Jeremy if he wanted to go somewhere fun, anywhere as long as it was away from the house. Away from Connor.
“Ohh! Let’s go to the game store! There’s going to be a card tournament today!” cooed Jeremy.
On our way to the game store, Jeremy gushed out that I was the best girl he ever met. And that I was the perfect girlfriend. He cooed, “Sahra, you’re the coolest girl I’ve ever met!”
“Aww Jeremy, that’s so sweet of you.”
“No really, you should take my number so we can keep in touch when your job is done. Here, my cell number,” he whipped out his cell phone. It was the newest phone from apple.
“Hey Jeremy, aren’t you too young for a cell phone? Do you even know how to use that?”
“Psh, of course I know how to use this. And mom said I should keep a phone for safety,” he said. His eyes rolled, expressing his cynical behavior. “Now here, my number.”
We exchanged numbers, because hey, I’m not going to say no to Jeremy. He’s just a kid.
A spoiled kid with the newest model from iphone while I still have a three year old phone from Metro.
The shitty kind.
Finally, we were at the game store. Jeremy saw his friends there already, taking out a deck of cards he stored in his front jean pocket.
While Jeremy was busy trading cards, I decided to walk around the game store. Toy figurines were placed in a glass container on the shelves. Consoles were being sold at the side, and games were everywhere. Name it, you can find it. Hah.
Suddenly, one game caught my interest. It was a game called Smash Brothers. I picked up the game off the wooden shelf, recognizing it was the same game Connor and I played. I smirked, replaying the image of Connor and I trying to beat each other, with so much determination that it just seemed silly because it was just a game.
The card tournament finally finished, and Jeremy and I walked back home. Jeremy was in high spirits, happy that he got to go to the card tournament. I laughed at his eagerness, his joyfulness was rubbing off me.
Jeremy opened the door, only to find a girl with blonde hair just about to walk out. She was rubbing her lips, and her blouse was unbuttoned.
It was Freida.
What was she doing? Was she with Connor?
Freida eyed me, and said cheerfully, “Oh Sahra! What are you doing here?” She looked so happy and joyful. Her happiness illuminated off of her, like, you can see a freaking golden halo above her head.
“Freida, what are you doing here?” I asked suspiciously. I didn’t trust her too much right now. She seemed too fake.
“Well, I can ask you the same thing!”
