—Chapter 7—
Snowy Dream

She glanced around her vicinity ㅡ it seemed to be nothing but blankets of snow and bare pine trees surrounding her. She looked down at herself; luckily, she wore a long yet heavy winter coat with a navy-blue scarf, gray boots, and black jeans. What confused her was the unusual location she had somehow appeared into. The cold crisp air filtered through her lungs as the raven exhaled a warm breath, hoping to warm up her rough hands. "Why is it so cold...? I don't recall being outside."

Her brows furrowed as she could not see a single person in sight. "Where's Emiya? I thought he was nearby. Were we not in a vehicle going somewhere?" The raven just realized something and quickly went through her coat... unbuttoning her winter coat, not seeing her usual bag of materials. "Where's my bag? My staff? My... weaponry?"

She quickly buttoned her winter coat back up as a cold shiver went down her back. "Only way to find out... Walk forward." She had no idea where she was, how she got here, why was she here in the first place? She recalled that she and the male were heading towards what seemed to be around Central Europe... that it was due to a call from an unknown message that was sent to Emiya.

. . .

"Hey, Emiya." The raven spoke out loud as she closed the door of the rented room they had occupied with something in her hands. "What is it, Yuu-san. You know I'm currently being busy right now." The male replied in a cold tone. "That's not being busy... Just cleaning the dishes, you conceited child." She laughed as she got a ticked-off scoff from him. "I am not conceited, damn woman."

"You didn't deny that you were doing the dishes," she continued to laugh as she carried an unusual small package towards the table in the middle of the room. "Shut up!" A light rosy hue dusted Emiya's cheeks as he wiped his hands on a towel before moving towards the older female. "Okay okay. But um... There's a package for you."

The raven scanned the package for any address or indications of where it could've originated from. "Stop," the male spoke as he placed his hand onto the package. "And step away from it." Her eyebrow rose, questioning the sudden sternness that appeared in his voice. "What's going on, Emiya? Something embarrassing for me to not know about?"

"No seriously, step away." The female stepped back as his hand was covered in linear aqua-hued lines to what seemed to be magic circuits. The bright lines soon engulfed the package as the male closed his eyes, concentrating on the item. "...ah, so that's what it is." The radiant aqua aura that flooded the room soon dissipated.

The raven looked at him, utterly confused. "Please explain what the heck just happened, Emiya. What's the package supposed to be?" She sat down on a cushioned chair with her legs towards the back of the chair. "Just directions to the next job I have." Her brows furrowed. "Job? As in what you're currently doing?"

The silver-haired male sighed. "Yeah, the thing that's called 'traveling around and protecting people'. That's a job." She scoffed as the male ripped the package and began reading the letter. "Okay there... Call it a job or however you want. What's the general idea of it?" He glanced up at the female before looking back down at the letter.

"Nothing that concactually. It might." Emiya folded the letter and placed it into his back pocket. He hesitated for a moment before walking toward the rooms. "We're heading out tonight." Her head tilted, questioning the situation. "...At the very least, where are we going?"

"Europe," he responded in a flat manner. "That's a broad location..." The female replied, sighing at the straightforward answer. "That's all you're getting from me, lady." She huffed, unable to pry any more information from the male.
