What is wrong with me?

Raven's P.O.V

I sat on my bed, looking at my room. Although, it didn't feel like my room anymore. It felt like someone else's. I feel like I don't belong here. Belong anywhere.

I wrapped myself in my cloak tightly, taking in its familiarity. That was about the only thing in here that felt right.

I lie on my bed, looking up at the ceiling. My mind went back to everything that happend. Although, I couldn't wrap my head around how I ended up back here. It didn't feel real.

My head spun. A flurry of thoughts filled my head. It was too much. I wanted to make it stop.

A soft knock echoed through my room, snapping me out of my thoughts. I looked at the door and heard shuffling from the other side. I slowly got up, having more strength now, and walked stiffly towards it.

Upon opening it, I saw Beastboy standing there awkwardly. What does he want?

"Oh, hey Raven. I uh.. made you some tea." He said, holding up a mug.

I stared at it for a moment before turning around swiftly and shutting the door behind me.

Herbal tea didn't seem so enticing anymore. In fact nothing did.

I felt different. I didn't like it. Why can't things just go back to normal?

The knocking began again. A little louder this time. I just decided to ignore it.

The truth was I had no idea what to say to him. Did I even want to talk to him? I don't even know anymore.

The knocking gradually got louder until I thought he was going to break my door down. But then it had stopped altogether. Maybe he gave up.

I put my hand on the door.

I should have been sad. Or even happy that he left. But I just felt empty inside. Why can't I feel anything?!?

Beastboy's P.O.V

I sat down, leaning against her door, feeling dejected. I clutched the mug tightly against my chest.

I looked down at its contents. Did I make it wrong? Maybe it wasn't good enough for her.

Maybe I wasn't good enough for her.

I quickly brushed the thought away, straightening up. I'll just wait until she comes out. She can't stay in there forever. Right?

So I waited and waited, but her door didn't move an inch. I sighed. It might be a little longer than I thought.

"Hey whatcha doin grass stain?" Cyborg asked, coming up next to me.

"Waiting." I whispered, as to not disturb Raven.

"For what?" Cyborg continued loudly, not taking the hint.

I nudged my head, motioning to Raven's room.

He quickly mouthed oh.

"How long have you been 'waiting'?" He whispered, leaning closer.

"No idea." I whispered back.

"You wanna play some video games?"

"I think I'd rather stay here."

His mouth dropped open. He waited, probably for me to reconsider. I just sat there, meeting his gaze.

After a few moments he stalked away, muttering something under his breath.

I didn't bother trying to catch what he was saying. I was too caught up in my own thoughts.

After a while, a door softly opened. I turned to realize it was Raven's. My heart soared. She was coming out.

Our eyes met. Only for a moment. A wisp of a smile formed on her face. But as soon as it had appeared, it was gone. I debated whether it was ever there at all.

I was going to talk to her, but I was at a loss for words.

She lurched away. I sighed and debated if I should follow her or just leave her alone.

After a moment of consideration, I knew the obvious choice.

I skulked behind her. Matching her step, but keeping my distance.

She must be going to the roof. I thought, upset with myself for not thinking of that earlier.

When she got there she flew out, away from the tower.

Why is she leaving!? Where is she going? So many questions consumed my thoughts.

I had to know. I am a curious person after all.

I turned into a bird and continued my pursuit.

She was at the surface now. Her legs almost skimming the ground.

She was at it for so long that I wondered if she even had a destination. Maybe she just wanted to get out. Clear her head. I do that sometimes.

I was about to turn around when she stopped. There stood an old run-down building. Right in front of her. Its windows were cracked and the door was leaning to one side.

Why did Raven want to come here? I guess its right up her alley. Definitely creepy.

She looked around for a moment. Luckily, I was out of sight.

So I guess she doesn't want any visitors. Unless she sensed me. Can she do that?

Raven staggered as she started to walk. Just as she was about to fall she caught herself.

The next thing I knew she disappeared into the building. I watched where she stood. Now, it was nothing but a memory.
