The train that had been panting with speed until a little while ago, when now start to slowly moves ahead to the station, my whole body began to tremble as if that it were the winter. My eyes were searching for Rashid every bench. I took a long breath after I get down with our luggage.

What happened?

Radhika asked as if she saw my difficulty.

Nothing, but you should wait here, I have to search for Rashid.

I asked about him to my familiar staffs in the shops at our railway station. But they all gave me the same answer.

No, today he didn't come here.

But I want to Rashid here now, my mind was whispering again.

In the meantime, some old students of my mother came forward to me for asking, can we help you to carry the luggage?

No thanks, I am waiting for my friend, he will come here with the car.

After the fifteen minutes of ineffective waiting for Rashid, we got out of the railway station. The familiar faces from the taxi drivers, they called us to enter their's car. But, one problem, I sure, they will annoy me through the journey with unwanted questions. How many days are your vacation? Who is the girl with you? Is your father is well? How many days has my mother retired from school? etc, etc...

My eyes had been wandering outside for Rashid, even after I seated in the car.

Akram, are you ok, Radhika asked me.

No, nothing.

Brother, please get us home.

Radhika, until now everything is ok, the real problems will be starting after we enter my home. I wanted to tell her so, but I didn't. She has been very excited ever since she got into the car from the railway station. She has been enjoying the beauty of our village. So I kept silent for a while.

Then I told her, Radhika my mother is a teacher, but she has a strong believes in our religion, so you should greet her with using the word ''Assalaamu Alaikum" in your first encounter.

Don't worry Akram, I'll manage her fairly.

There was darkness in our little road to our house. It will at nine o'clock when my father comes home. Now only there have my mother and sister at home. We slowly moved to the courtyard, the gate had already opened.

When we were walking through the courtyard, we heard my sister reciting the lines from the Quran. Now, between in the time that of maghrib and isha prayer, the father will be inside the mosque. So, now this moment we won't need a feard about my father. But a severe fear was forming in my mind when I try to remember about the incidents after my father's arrival.

When we slowly walking over the dry leaves that fell on the lawn my sister stopped reciting as if she heard the sounds of our footsteps. We saw a burqa head peeped towards us from the drawing-room, then she came to the courtyard. Radhika felt uneasy. I saw the shadow of the fear has floated around in the most courageous gorgeous face. She clenched my hand, I recognized, her hand is trembling. She pulled her hand away from me when the light pervaded over the lawn.

I recognized half-forgotten suspicious question appeared to my sister's face.

Assalamu Alaikkum

Va Alikkum Assalam.

Formal moments over; we are the four people sat down around the dining table for dinner. The mother started the conversation.
