Part 12 : Can we be friends?

I went to her house before but now I forgot how to go there....because It's been a long time...

"I found her house...it wasn't so hard finding her house..."

Now I've to push the doorbell....I can't press it....it's already too late...I'm going to press it!

I pressed the doorbell! What should I say if someone comes?....

"Hello. Do you need anything?"

Maybe she's her mom. ...

"He..Hello. My name is Rei. Me and your daughter go to the same school."

"Oh,I see. You are Ayoko's boyfriend?"

"No..no. I'm just her friend. Today she didn't came to school that's why I came here..."

"Wait, she's in her room. Come inside."

"No problem, I'm fine here."

"Rei!"

"Hello."

"What are you doing here?"

"Some of your friends told me to come here. You are participating in a band show,right?"

"Yes."

"The band show is about start. So,why are you still here?"

"......."

"Tell me."

"It's been a long time since I played guitar and I don't know if I can do it..."

"So,why did you participated?"

"They forced me and I didn't have any other choices left.."

"I see. Look they are waiting for you. If you don't go they will be in problem,right?"

"I can't go there...it'll be so embarrassing if I can't do anything..."

"Believe in yourself. I know you can do it. Just give all you've got!"

"....."

"Don't just stand there....come let's go. They are waiting for us..."

"Hello! She's here. Best of luck. Do your best."

"Okay.Thank you."

The band show ended perfectly. Today I'm so tired....but I can't go to home...I don't know how Rin is doing....cultural festival is about to end.....

"Rei,thank you very much."

"No problem. I'm glad that you did it perfectly."

"Thanks and sorry for giving you so much trouble...."

"You're welcome."

"So...I..wa..want..to..ask something.."

"What?"

"Can we be friends?"

What should I say?.... Should I say yes or no? It feels so awkward...

"Ok."

"Thank you. Cultural festival is about to end so do you want to see it with me?"

"Okay. Let's go."

After that we spent some time together...

"Today I enjoyed so much. Thank you again."

"I also enjoyed so no need to say thanks."

"I've to go home. See you tomorrow."

"Okay."

Ayoko and I became friends but I still feel awkward...don't know why....

I don't know what Rin is doing....I hope she will be able to do it...

"Yo,Rei,what are you doing there?"

"Nothing. Where were you?"

"Sorry...I was busy doing lots of work...."

"Same here...I'm now feeling hungry."

"Me too. Then let's go to home."

"I can't. I've to wait for Rin."

"I forgot about her. Is she doing okay?"

"I don't know. That's why I'm waiting for her."

"Let's go and find her."

"Okay. I'm going this way."

"Okay. I'll call you if I find her."

I tried finding her but I failed....then I remembered that I haven't checked her classroom...

This is her classroom. After opening the door I saw someone was sitting in the dark...and crying..

"Hello..."

"Oh,hi,senpai."

"I'm sorry..."

"You don't have to say sorry. It's not your fault he likes someone else....."

I didn't know what to say...but I felt really bad for her....

"You don't have to cry...you should go to home now.."

"Okay. But I want to stay here alone for some time...you should go.."

"Ok. Take care."

After that I left from there. She must be feeling so pain...

"Azuki..."

"Did you find her?"

"The boy likes someone else..."

"So,we failed...where is she?"

"She wants to stay alone for some time..."

"Then we should go to home..."

"Yeah."

I'm finally at my home. Today was such a tiresome day...both good and bad things happened.

Today Ayoko became my friend. It's not a bad thing....now that I'm thinking about this....she was kind of cute when she asked me to be her friend....[*blush*]

It's so embarrassing.....I should go to bed....
