5 years later
Eric Clark was coming to ACME on an assignment. He was told to get ready to look into the disappearances of agents from ACME. Upon hearing the news about his assignment, he did what he had been doing for 2 years, got his gear, outfit, earpiece, and weapons before he went to a meeting with ACME. He walked out of his dorm in ACME headquarters and went down the hall to an elevator. He clicked on 4, and his dorm was on floor 3. After the elevator door opened, Eric walked into the room where he could see the whole city of San Francisco and TV screens that show other field offices of ACME buildings. He also could see a map of the world on a digital screen in cases there were alerts, especially from VILE. "One-day VILE," Eric said, "I'll see you fall to your knees." He continued on into an office where no one was around and sat down. He thought about the agents that disappeared over the past 5 years. He also remembered that he was once one of them
4 months earlier
"Agent Devineaux," a voice said in an agent's earpiece walking down a dark underground, "Any word on finding one of the ACME agents?" "I got a lead," Chase Devineuax said, "I think I see one not far away from here." "I expect to hear more than just a lead Devineuax," the voice said in demand, "I want results and I want another agent safe." "On it Chief," Devineuax responded. As he walked down the dark corridor, he cautiously walked down with barely a flashlight on him to keep safe.
He felt the hard floor as he walked deeper into the buildings. "It's amazing that in Egypt that the Pyramids had tombs this deep," Chase said, "but why would Carmen put an agent or two in her-" He got cut off as he heard quiet whimpers of someone in the tomb. He slowly walked toward the whimpers and saw a figure on the ground shaking as he shone a light on him. "Chief," Chase whispered, "I found one of our agents. It's Agent Clark." "Good job Devineaux," the chief said, "Bring him back to the base and see if we can help him." "On it Chief," Chase said. As he got closer, Chase saw the horror, Agent Clark was shaking, skinny, and was only wearing a jumpsuit. "Humiliation?" Chase said to himself, "That does not sound like Carmen." He got Agent Green up and helped him get out of the tomb. The horrors Chase saw hit deep and he wanted to make sure he got some answers.
Present-day
"Eric?" a female voice asked. The calm voice was enough for Eric to slowly turn around. "Carly Davis," he said to the brown-haired woman, "It's good to see you again." "Same to you," she said, "It's good to see you are getting better." "Yeah...," he said, "I'm just glad I am ready to pursue justice against Carman and V.I.L.E for what they did to me." "I understand," Carly said as she sat by him in the office, "I just hope you don't let your passion for revenge get to you." "I have a passion for justice, not revenge," Eric said. Then the screen on the map changed to a familiar red-haired man with spots of white hair. "Agents Clark and Davis," he began, "Chase Devineaux here. I hope you guys are ready for your first assignment together." "What's the mission?" Carly said. "VILE activity was found in Dallas, Texas recently," Devineaux said, "There's a chance that there is an underground cellar with VILE agents that are planning to steal the Cotton Bowl Stadium." "Why would they steal an old Stadium?" Clark asked. "That's why you two are going there to find out," Devineaux said, "Intel was given to me by Agent Jackson before he mysteriously disappeared. We also want you two there to see if there is a connection to the disappearing agents and Clark, your experience is key to solving this case and stopping VILE so pack your bags to Dallas." The screen then went off and Clark and Davis stood up and got ready for their first Mission.
The duo got to the airport in San Francisco to board a private plane to Dallas. While they were checking in, Carly saw a mark on Eric's wrist. "What's that mark from?" she asked. Eric looked at Carly then at his wrist. "That is a reminder," he said, "a reminder of the pain I was given when captured." "Did Carmen do that?" Carly asked. Eric looked at her and said nothing in response. That was when they checked in through security, got their bags, and got ready to board the plane.
Meanwhile, in Dallas, some tourists were looking around on the State Fairgrounds in Dallas when they heard something. They looked around and saw some activity in the Cotton Bowl stadium. The tourists then took out their phones to record the incident happening. After 5 minutes, their recordings revealed that the Cotton bowl lights were on at 5 PM even though there was still daylight, some people were seen walking inside, and then disappeared from view. However, at the end of their recordings, a sound of creaking was heard and a rumbling was heard. Suddenly, the Stadium was going up and smoke was coming from the bottom and a loud sound of a rocket was heard. The Stadium went up and then disappeared from sight. The tourists who witnessed it called the police immediately to report what they have seen. This was a nightmare that hardly anyone expected.
