Astrid's P.O.V

Another new day at school, the definition of where the devil lives! Elsa is somewhere else today, usually we are together. But she came to school early for a run on the track, I am too lazy to join. I am walking in the hall until I feel someone body slam me into the lockers. I grunted as my body hit the cold metal, dropping all my books and schoolwork. I look up from my position and see Merida, smirking evilly. I groaned at the smirk, she pulled my chin to face her.

"Stay away from Hiccup! He is mine and he always will be. No one will take him away from me. Especially a girl who can't even defend herself." She growled. She gave me one last punch to the jaw then walked off. I can feel tears well up in my eyes, no, no!!!! I do not cry! I gather my things and I run to the music room. I grab a guitar and play the song that always calms me down.

I finished my song. Then I heard clapping, my head turns to the door and I see Hiccup standing there. My face turns to a scowl, why is he here?

"Why are you here?" I asked coldly.

"I always come here and play the guitar and sing my parents song." He answered, he sounds sad. I nodded and he came and grabbed another guitar, then he started singing.

I will swim and sail the savage seas
With ne'er fear of drowning
I will gladly walk the waves of life

Then I joined him.

We finished the song and stared into each other's eyes. We slowly lean in towards each other, I know that song. My parents used to sing it. My lips lightly brush his, then he leans in more and he kisses me. I kiss back, not thinking about anything, our lips moving in perfect sync. I close my eyes as we gently kiss. My heart beats in my chest wildly, butterflies flutter in my stomach. Then we gently pull away, I catch my breath. Then I realize I had just done. Hiccup just cheated on Merida with me, I just put him in danger. I bolted from my seat and ran out of the room. Not caring if he is calling my name, running after me.
