Chapter 13

Astrid's P.O.V

Since its been a couple months, it is summer. School has been out for a week when Hiccup and Jack found Elsa and I. We came back home and everyone was overjoyed to see us, we couldn't stop smiling.

"You'll never catch us!" I yelled. We are playing tag with the boys and let's say, Elsa and I are winning. We
Earned to climb the impossible in minutes and our senses sharpened. I jumped up to a high branch and started jumping from one branch to another. I'm laughing until I feel pain in my heart, I look behind me and I see Elsa feeling it too, the curse!

"HICCUP! WHAT'S THE DATE TODAY?" I yelled so he can here me.

"JUNE 15TH!" With those words said, Elsa and I fell from the branches we are perched on. Falling into a deep sleep!

Hiccups P.O.V

Astrid starts falling from the branch she was perched on, I manage to catch her bridal style. I look and I see Jack did the same with Elsa. We nodded and started running back in the allies and to the house. We burst in and yell for Marsh, he rushes down and sees the girls state.

We follow him to the infirmary and placed them there. Then we left.

"Could you explain to us what's happening!!" I freaked.

"Ok, but you have to stay calm!" Marsh said. Jack and I nodded.

"When the girls were younger, about nine. They got cursed by Pitch, their curse, it slowly kills them. The only cure is true love and he knew that's hard to find. Every month on the fifteenth, they fall into a kind of like comatic state. One day the curse will kill them, but we don't know when. We fear it might be soon, that the curse will finish them. Pitch said the curse only has a limited time, it's been eight years. They have to find the people who will say I love you and actually mean it!" Marsh explained. We nodded, Jack and I hoped we will be the ones.

That night was a restless night, Jack and I couldn't get any sleep. I bolted from my bed when I heard a scream.....Astrid!!! I run to the infirmary.

Astrid's P.O.V

NOOOOO!!!! Hiccup! Blood poured from his open wound! Why, why? Why did Putch have to put this curse on us. The night,ares slowly kill us. Pitch stared at me creepily. I crumbled to the ground, tears streaming my face. I don't usually cry, but I couldn't help it. I see Jack also, Elsa beside me. We are crying for the two boys that had become our boyfriends only days ago. I hugged Elsa, we cried on each others shoulder. Until I felt someone shaking me awake!

My eyes shot open, my heart is racing, my breaths short and rigid. There sitting on my bed is Hiccup. His eyes look bloodshot with fear, a tear streamed down his face. He pulled me into an embrace and I cried into his shoulder.

"I thought you were gone!" I whimpered.
