How will I know our love is true?
I know true love is hard to find
Once I find it I'll never let it go
But how could love with first sight be true?
Do you believe true love is fake?
That true love doesn't exist?
I don't know what to believe anymore
I prefer to believe love is not a lie
You tell me you have never been loved
You say you can not be loved
Cause you do not deserve it
You say love has failed you
You say it has given up on you
But then why am I here?
Why can't you see how much I care?
How much I hurt, when the tears slide down your face?
And you have such a pretty face
I hate to see it cry,
I hate to see you suffer
But you don't let me try
Please hear me out,
Please stop acting like you are alright
I'm here to help
I'm here to give you life
