Also I'm 12 years old so don't expect PG scenes or brilliant writing
Whenever I think of my best friends, a few people come to mind.
But.. there's one that.. I always think of first.
Hanako-kun.
He's a pain in the neck, unfair, doesn't take me seriously and is overall just a cat in a human body.
But..
I'm proud to have him as my friend
I smile as I remember that and knock on his door. "Hanako-san, Hanako-"
"Yashiro, I'm here!" he grabs my shoulders from behind.
"Hanako-kun!" my eyes light up as I spin around. Whenever I have bad days, it's sort of refreshing to see him.
"You seem happy." he smiles with his signature raise of an eyebrow.
"I was just thinking about you." I actually want to express to him how grateful I am for his company. He really makes the world seem a lot brighte-
"Yashiro~ You naughty daikon~"
...Nevermind.
I jab him in the stomach with my elbow.
"Geez.. I was about to say something" I cross my arms and pout.
"Sorry, please say it." he puts his hand together in a praying motion.
"Da~me." I turn away.
"Awww~ don't be like that, Yashiro!" he floats around me and then cups my face in this hands, "Continue what you wanted to say pleeeeeeease!~"
I'm honestly very angry at him.
"No. Let me go." I try to pull his arms away from my face.
He finally pulls away, placing his hands in his pockets and lowering himself onto the floor. With his eyes turned away, he finally speaks, "I'm actually sorry, Yashiro."
He looks at me again, he seems truly apologetic, "Forgive me, okay?"
Ah.. now I feel kind of bad.
"Yea, thanks, Hanako-kun." I appreciate these moments when he talks to me so genuinely. It makes my heart kind of flutter and reminds me why I appreciate him.
"Thank you, Yashiroooooo!" and with that, he's back to his playful self. He pounces onto me and wraps me in a big hug.
He really is just like a cat.. but I don't mind anymore. I loosely hug back, he's squeezing me so tightly.
Hanako-kun is playful, annoying and a human with cat tendencies.
"Hanako.."
"I do really like you." I can feel his heart beat getting faster faster, he even grips me tighter to try and hide his embarrassment.
But..
I'm proud to have him as my boyfriend.
