3rd pov

It was about two or so hours before midnight when Youngjae finally finished his work. He, along with Jaebeom, had been out and about all day long, it was a relief that they were finally going home.

"Ah- today was a long day." Youngjae said, stretching his arms above his head and yawning. The two of them walked over to Jb's car and took their seats inside.

"Since we're already in my car, I can drop you off at the complex." He offered. Youngaje thought for a moment.

"I actually need to go to the store, so would you mind dropping me off there?" He asked. Jb nodded and turned the car on, putting it into gear and driving away. The convenience store wasn't too far away from where Youngjae was staying, maybe at most a 10-minute walk. He just needed a couple of things here and there so they shouldn't be long, they were both tired anyways.

Night-time car rides were always a favorite of Youngjae's. The calming ride along with the serene scenery of a night time city was always so beautiful to look at. Especially when there wasn't a car tailgating them with their high-beams on, the light coming through the side mirrors was extremely bright. Tailgating was not always a favorite of Youngjae's. He shielded his eyes from the light and tried to enjoy the rest of the ride. They soon pulled up to the store, Youngjae got out followed by Jaebeom.

"You didn't have to come with me, you know."

"I didn't want to wait outside in my car for you, so I thought it would be better to just come inside." Jb made a fair point. Youngjae grabbed some everyday use things like batteries, a new charger, and cleaning supplies. He grabbed some chips and candy while he was there as well.

"You shouldn't eat junk food, it'll stunt your growth." Jaebeom scolded. "You really should eat more healthy food."

"I don't eat this stuff every day. It's just a bit of a midnight snack, don't worry. Look, I'll get some fruit too." Youngjae replied with a smile. They reached the register and before Youngjae could take out some money, Jaebeom handed the cashier his card. "Wait, no, it's okay. I can pay for it." Jb shook his head.

"Don't worry about it, it's fine." Youngjae tried to protest, but it was no use. They bagged his items and stepped outside the store.

"I can walk from here, it's not too far." The younger said, placing his bag of groceries on the ground.

"Are you sure?" Jaebeom asked, " It's not a hassle to take you over there." Youngjae shook his head 'no.'

"Don't forget that I'm a man too!" Youngjae joked. "Don't worry about me, I'll be fine. Trust me."

"OK, whatever you say. Just tell me when you get situated, alright?" Jb said, getting into his car. Youngjae waved as the car pulled out and drove away. Taking the bags back into his hands, he started walking in the direction of the apartments. It was a peaceful night out, there weren't many cars driving by and most of the windows of houses and apartment complexes were black. The occasional person would pass or some sort of stray animal would scurry by. The moon was small yet bright in the sky, providing just enough light to see. Youngjae didn't usually feel anxious walking at night, he did this all the time. For some reason, he felt uneasy and continued to glance around the area. He knew he had passed by some people, but... were they following him? He could have sworn he heard footsteps. He thought that maybe it was Jb following him? Youngjae quickly turned around to find that there was nobody there. His heart was racing. He stopped walking for a second and took a deep breath in. It was all in his head, there was nobody behind him. There's nobody following me, it's just my tiredness getting to me. I need to hurry up and get home, he thought.

He started walking again, trying not to think about what just happened. As he thought, it was all in his head. But he just couldn't shake the feeling that someone was following him. Maybe I'm just being paranoid, he thought. Just to be safe, Youngjae started to walk faster, just trying to finish his walk home.

He finally got home after what felt like an eternity of walking. He locked the door and let out a sigh of relief, finally feeling safe. He went into his room and tossed his phone onto the bed, and went back to the kitchen to put his things away. He put his fruit on the countertop and placed his junk food in a small basket. Just as he was about to reach for another item, he heard the handle of the front door jiggle. Was it someone from the complex? Or maybe Jb? But the sound soon ceased. Youngjae glanced over his shoulder at the door. Was he just paranoid from walking home? I swore I heard something. He started to walk over to the door, just to make sure. Before he could even get close the door was struck from the outside, echoing a loud 'bang' followed by it shaking violently. Whoever was behind that door was trying to get in. They were going to get in. Panic struck Youngaje, not knowing what to do or where to go. His room was not too small so there was bound to be somewhere to hide. His adrenaline was pumping and his fight or flight sense kicked in. He ran to get to his room, nearly falling down in the process. He looked around and quickly decided that the closet was going to be the best place to hide. He pulled the door open and closed it behind him, he was breathing heavily and his mind was all over the place. What's going to happen to me? Did they just come to steal my stuff? Am I going to die here? Is this how it's all going to end?

The door continued to rattle, until it was struck with one final bang and the door swung open. There's no way somebody didn't hear that, right? This floor is kind of empty, but someone HAD to have heard that. Someone's going to come for me, right? He couldn't hear anything anymore, but he knew that they were there. He covered his mouth with his hand and tried to quiet his breathing. The closet door was slightly cracked open so he could see outside, but he was fairly sure whoever it was couldn't see in; the room itself was still dark. His phone went off and his heart stopped, but he didn't dare to leave the closet to turn it off. It was Jb who was calling, his ring tone was different from the others. The phone continued to ring, letting it go to voicemail. The phone then rang again. He could hear footsteps walk into the room, but he couldn't see who it was. They rejected the call. He called again and it was rejected again. He heard another phone ring, but this one wasn't his.

"Yeah, I'm in." The voice spoke. Youngjae had never heard that man's voice before. "I just can't find the damn cunt! He's hiding somewhere." He paused. "I know. I need to find him quickly. You better keep your promise." The intruder hung up no sooner than he answered. "Where are you, little kitty cat~" The intruder called. "If you come out now it'll make this a whole lot easier- for me anyways." His steps were silent once again. Youngjae's eyes filled with terror as he watched the intruder's feet walk right past him. He closed his eyes, hoping that the person would just leave already. He heard the intruder rummaging around his bed as he continued to search.

Then, it all stopped again. Youngjae opened his eyes, seeing another set peering back at him through the crack in the door.

"I've found you!"

*Back in the Mansion(aka jb's house)*

Youngjae wasn't picking up any of Jaebeom's calls. He had offered to take him home, but he rejected him. He always picked up his calls, so it was very odd. He called again and again, and his calls were rejected! He couldn't shake the feeling that something was off; even if Youngjae didn't want to talk to him he would still answer his calls. Maybe he fell asleep? But he didn't look that tired when I dropped him off... Jb thought to himself. He was a bit worried and felt uneasy about the whole thing. He remembered seeing a car following them, but he didn't think much about it at the time.

Maybe that has something to do with this? It wouldn't be the first time that this had happened to him, but what would Youngjae have to do with rhis? Jb grabbed his coat and car keys. He thought about calling some of his men over, but settled on going alone; he could probably handle whatever it was, and if nothing bad happened he didn't want to look dumb.

Youngjae please be safe!
