The name Juniper. Or, friends call me Juni. I live on the "no-beans" side of Los Angeles, aka, I'm broke. My momma is always gone, doing work as a nurse. She drinks a lot, but it doesn't bother me. I have one rule in my household: clean, then dip. I do as I'm told, there is no point to pull up any jack. Especially when my mom is blazed or jacked. Sis is 16, rebellious, and best of all, unnoticed. It's a blessing and a curse. The curse is that no one notices me, the blessing is that no one notices me. So I get to do what I want, when I want. That's if I have cheddar, aka, money.

"Dude, did you peep the new Doc Martens?" Cass exclaimed.

Cass, or if you want to be formal, Cassidy, is my homeslice. Me and her have been besties since the crib shit. Her dads a dentist, but doesnt make much, and she's dating Ryan, another middle classer like her. They are perfect for eachother. Honestly, they are going to be the highschool sweethearts that actually survived after graduation. Also, she has a GREAT bod.

"Yo, Cass, those are bangin'" I tell her after leaning over to the magazine she was looking at.

"Ya think our parents would let us cop em?" she asked. I gave her a deadpan look. She knows damn well my mom couldn't afford it.

"Are you going off the heasy?" I ask her.

"What? There's no harm in asking!" she replies.

"If you want to get them so bad, just gank em." I said.

"Bitch, you're getting postal. Do you know what my old man would do to me?" She has a point. If we get caught stealing the brand new sandals, we are getting jacked, aka, our asses are going to get beat.

"Fine, I don't want to be jacked either." I sit back down on the bus seat. Today we are going to Santa Monica pier, to get new jeans for Cass, she had a huge rip on her last one that was practically unfixable. And the bad news was that school starts right back up in a week. Our summer is almost over. But we aren't wasting any time, we are just missing one more member. Reece. And finally, that completes our holy trinity. Even though none of us are holy.

Reece however is hella rich. Im talking about this homie having a fucking car already. His family is the definition of perfect. Dads a huge lawyer and owns a restaurant and a club. And his mom is a surgeon. His brother Matthew is a senior at our school, second coach of the football team that Reece is also on. Also, this dude has a habit of wearing his football jersey every where we fucking go. To be honest, neither me or Cass know why his rich ass even hangs out with us.

"Reece better be there, homie already has a fucking car while we have to sit on a dusty ass bus." Complains Cass.

"Chillax sis, he should be, and if he isn't, he better get ready for a can of ass whooping." Cass laughs at my remark. She lays her head on my shoulder and stares to the left.

"I can't believe summer is almost over." Her perky personality immediately goes gloomy.

"I know, it went by so freaking fast." I say staring to the left also.

"Please tell me you can hang out till 1 am." She asks me.

"Dude, I don't know if I can pull up to this party tonight, my mom actually comes home early today. I have until 10 though if that's okay." I told her. She groans.

"Buzz kill bitch. Tanner -fucking- Walker is throwing a party." She said. And holy fuck, now I have to go.

Tanner Walker. The popular football player of our highschool, the quarterback. His lucky number is 8, also MY lucky number. I also happen to be his "matching cheerleader". Since we have the same lucky number, I have to cheer for him during football season. Sounds cool right? Wrong, he never notices me. He doesn't even know I'm his matching cheerleader. He doesn't know he even has one. Tanner is also rich as fuck. Dad is an entrepreneur, which is a lot of banks. Also a big jersey fan, wears his every fucking where. He has a hella good bod, LOVES to party, rumor has it that he never misses one. And this time he is throwing the party.
