MARSHALL P.O.V

As Fiona drove us back to that café they where telling us about... Fiona and Bonnie finished telling us the whole story. I was on the edge.

"COME ON, FIONA... GO FASTER..." I yelled from the back seat, griping on my hair and stomping my feet nervously.

"I'M GOING AS FAST AS I CAN WITHOUT RISKING OUR LIVES... YOU IDIOT..." Fiona answered, tensely.

I knew there was nothing else we could do right now... all I knew was that Gumball was somewhere out there, getting beat up by Simon... and I would not be able to forgive myself if he got hurt. I need to get there... NOW.

As Fiona was stopping the car, I practically jumped out of it, and ran towards the entrance of a small family restaurant, which appeared to be closed.

"WAIT—Marshall... wait up!!" Flame yelled.

"MARSHALL... calm down..." Fiona yelled. They followed behind me as I banged on the front door.

"HEY!! OPEN UP... SIMON!? OPEN THE FUCKING DOO—" I yelled but was interrupted when a woman opened the door.

"How can I help you, kids?" She gave us a smile, as if she didn't even know what was going on.

I pushed her aside, rushing inside.

"GUMBALL!!" I yelled, desperately. Fiona, Flame and Bonnie were right behind me. The woman just looked at me and smiled. I growled in anger. Grabbed her by her collar and asked again, in a lower but more intimidating tone. "Where. Is. Simon?" I growled. Her smile sort of... faded away. I could see fear in her eyes.

She didn't say anything, she just swallowed and pointed upstairs. I let go of her and rushed upstairs, opening each and every door I could see... my friends doing the same as I... Until...

"Marshall..." Fiona said as she stood by one of the closed doors. "It's locked." She continued. I didn't even think, I just ran. I ran toward the door as if my life depended on it... because it did.

"CAREFULL..." Bonnie screamed as my whole body smashed against the somewhat old door. The door kicked open... that's when my eyes widened and I snorted in anger.

Gumball was pinned down to the floor, bleeding, on the verge of passing out... and Simon was on top of him... Simon turned to look at me as he landed another punch on Gumball's face... I'M GONNA KILL HIM. I growled and launched myself at him with all my strength, forcing him off Gumball. As I landed one punch on Simon's face, I looked at Gumball to see if he was conscious. He was. Thank Glob...

"M-Marshy..." He said as a tear streamed down his face... his voice shaky. Fiona and Bonnie were already helping him stand up. I looked at him with hurt in my eyes. I never thought I would have to see him like this again... I looked at Flame.

"G-Get him to the hospital..." I said, enraged, as I pinned Simon to the floor.

"B-But..." Flame said.

"GO! NOW!" I yelled. They left the room, carrying Gumball... I heard him crying and calling for me.

When I looked at Simon, he was grinning. I punched him again.

"WHAT THE HELL'S YOUR PROBLEM?" I yelled, landing several strong punches on his face. He laughed, making me even angrier.

"I... I knew... I k-knew you would... beat me u-up..." He said, laughing. I growled.

"I'm gonna kill you." I growled, as I landed another set of punches on his face.

"Y-Yeah... do i-it..." He said, grinning. I clenched my fists and gritted my teeth... but slowly let go of him... I stood up.

"You're not even worth it..." I said. "Just... why did you do all that?" I asked... hoping he'd tell me the reason. He pushed himself up against the wall and sighed.

"H-Helen... your... y-your mom..." He said. Me eyes widened.

"WHAT?" I gasped, horrified.

"H-Helen... o-ordered me t-to do it... e-everything..." He sighed again. I growled.

"HOW DO YOU EXPECT ME TO BELIEVE THAT?" I sais, as I grabbed a fistful of his hair and glared at him.

"I... d-don't...know... but... it's the truth... she'll s-stop at nothing to g-get the two of y-you apart..." He said. "She wants you to do... what she says... y-you know... l-leave this place... train to take o-o-over her place..." He blurted out. My eyes widened in horror.

"I already agreed to that... what more does she... h-how... how did you even k-know that?" I asked, letting go of his hair. He sighed again.

"S-she... was blackmailing me... sorta..." he said. I raised an eyebrow. "L-Look... this place... is all me and m-my aunt have... your mom g-got some dirt on my aunt... from the past... and... I'd r-risk anything to k-keep this place... s-so... she ordered me to make your l-life a living h-hell..." He confessed.

"Aren't you worried we'll go to the police?" I threatened. He chuckled.

"I'm much... m-much more afraid of your mother." He said. Yeah... so am I. "There's no running from it, Marshall Lee... she'll... never stop." He said. I flinched away and left...

As I walked out of the room, I gasped in surprise... Marceline was standing outside. She was looking down.

"Y-You... how much did you hear?" I asked, not daring to look in my friend's eyes.

"P-Pretty much all of it... someone had to drive here to take you back home... Bonnie called me when they were leaving with Gumball to the hospital... so... yeah... I heard all of it..." Marceline said, empathy in her voice. I sighed as we both walked towards her car.

Then we got inside her car and drove away.
